The next morning, we ate with the Grandmaster. I took notice of the fact that 142 wasn't there. "Hear ye! Thanks for hearing ye. The Contest of Champions will be tonight, and you're all invited to attend! I do hope you all will join me!" The Grandmaster said. After everyone had cleared out, he came over to me and Loki. "I don't usually do this, but you guys have just been so great! How would you like to sit up in the VIP box with me and the Golden Ladies?" He asked. I cocked my head. Once again, Loki was doing the talking for me. "We would love that!" He said. "Oh, wonderful! See you both tonight! One of the Golden Ladies will fetch you."
We went back to our suite and I sat down on the bed, attempting to cover myself. "I wouldn't even bother anymore," Loki said dryly. I rolled my eyes and asked, "Aren't you going to see your brother? Before the contest?"
"I suppose so. I think I will just send a copy of myself."
Loki flopped down on the bed. I slapped him in the back of the head, scoffing. "Go. See. Your brother," I hissed. Loki sat up and walked out of the suite without saying a word. "Bye," I sarcastically said, rolling my eyes.
Loki's POV
I walked into the ovular room. At the persistent request of Y/n, I was here to see Thor, and if I was in the mood, wish him luck on this Contest of Champions. He didn't realize I was in here, I saw, as he said the prayer for Odin being accepted into the Halls of Valhalla. "I bid you take you place in Valhalla where the brave shall live forever," I joined him. Thor turned around, still sitting slumped against the wall. "Hurts, doesn't it? Being lied to. Being told you're one thing and then learning it's all a fiction." Thor, in response threw a can at me. It went straight through.
"Come on, you didn't think I'd really come and see you this place is disgusting."
He still didn't say anything. My jaw clenched and I rolled my eyes. "You're not really thinking of going back are you? Our sister destroyed your hammer like a piece of glass. Going back, especially with Y/n would be suicide. I'm not putting her in danger, Thor. Would you say something?" He didn't respond. "SAY SOMETHING!" I shouted. He didn't flinch, but instead replied, "What do you want me to say? You faked your death, impersonated Father? Now would you like me to go back more than the last two days?"

Got to admit that hurt.

"Fine. Guess I'll go it alone, just like I always have," I sighed. "And just so you know, I've placed an astonishingly large wager against you. Don't let me down." He threw another can at me and I walked out, frustrated at me.
I walked back into our suite and saw Y/n brushing her hair, styling it as well. She turned around, clipping golden earrings. "How'd...how'd it go?" She asked delicately.
"How do you think it went?"
Y/n sighed and finished preparing herself. She pushed down her dress and snarled, "I hate this damn dress. It's too tight and too revealing." She wrapped her arms around me and whispered, "I'm glad I have you as company. You're such an amazing boyfriend, Loki."
"Me? Well isn't that just high praise."
She jumped into my arms and kissed me. "Silly trickster," she whispered. "Your silly trickster." Of course our tender moment was interrupted by the Golden Ladies. They delicately said, "Prince Loki, Lady Y/n, the Grandmaster has sent us to fetch you for the Contest of Champions." We both nodded and Y/n did the speaking this time, as I had a face that looked like it could kill. "Come on, love. It'll only be for a bit."
