I think it was the VMAs that really brought them [Mind the Gap] to America. Yeah, the show ended up being a right clusterfuck but you know, publicity. It definitely brought the band together with Guns N Roses, both acts seemed to merge into one name in the press. It was mutual, Guns brought MTG fame in the US and MTG definitely helped Guns increase some notoriety over the sea. Again, clusterfuck of a night, I don't think it was worth the paperwork or the ambulance or the stupid fucking feud, but it was you know, worth something

_______________________"Black or red?" Andy asked looking through the mirror to Yoko behind her, the makeup artist leaning over with different coloured tubes lined up on the table.
"Black, makes a statement, you know," Was the reply, shouting over the hairdryer setting her bob in place. The room was busy, different stylists and artists running around talking into ear pieces, different clothing pieces on racks and shoes scattered across the tiled floor.
"Yeah, because jet black eyeshadow and heavy under eyeliner screaming normality,"
"You have a look, go with it!"
Andy wondered if it was too monochromatic, her hair was black, eyebrows black, iries black, make up black, and it probably contrasted horribly against her olive skin, but Yoko was right, she had made a look for herself with the Ad and the Hooliganism cover.
She had a feeling that the outfit picked out for her was black, apart from the jeans, no they would have to be royal blue. After all, she was indeed the face of the company now, for better or worse, but definitely richer rather than poorer.
She wondered if the guys got any outfits chosen for them, Eric was in a completely different room, and she hadn't seen any of Guns wandering around. The last time she had seen Axl was last night, wrapped together back under sheets, sharing warmth and affection, even if her sleep was no longer as peaceful as at the Westgate. She tried to blame it on Axl's mattress, it was a lot softer than the one in his hotel room, that she was too hot and the AC was bust, but it didn't stop her mind from wandering, if it was the blood on the linoleum making a return to her vision.
Some things were better not dwelled on, and she could go an entire lifetime without feeling that cursed crusty, red under her nails again.
The make-up artist slowly outlined her lips, before meticulously filling them in, Andy didn't tell her that her and Axl already had plans to get nachos later, ruining the perfectly outlined make-up.
Well, even if her and Axl were to skip the meal, it would mess up anyway, the stain pulled across her cheeks and chin, and her curls, which the hairstylist had tried to instil some order over, would be completely free and wild. Not that she cared truly, she'd much rather feel the tender, animalistic touch of his lips, feel the heat and the desire, the rake of fingers through strands and nails running over skin.
She didn't know if she should be impressed or annoyed, that he already had her so down. He knew the spot just under her chin to push the pressure of his lips, the way she would shiver at the lightest touch over her bottom ribs and her immediate moan when he breathed hot air over the shell of her ear. It was no lie that they already fit together, lock and key, the curves of her spine matching those against the pull of his chest and stomach.
Not that she was a slouch, he would let out deep groans when she bit on his lower lip, the raising of hairs when she dragged her nails over his stomach, he said her nails felt different when she got them filled in, the almond shape dragging different to her old square tips, when she asked for better or worse, he deepened the kiss over her neck, bruising the flesh further.
