POV: Hoshi
EL had graduated from elementary school a few months ago. And now, she's in a new environment, with new teachers and schoolmates.
"Chrestine." The school name said.
"Oh god, I'm so nervous! I don't think I'll ever make any new friends. Glad to have you in the same school as me." I said.
I'm EL's best friend. We have been friends since grade 1 in elementary school.
"Don't worry, I'll be here by your side if you need me. You know that, right?" EL reassured me.
I nodded in response.
The feeling of walking to school was extreme. I felt Butterflies in my stomach and heart beating faster than ever. This is probably the end of the world for me. I mean, the school is pretty nice, but the mixed feelings are kind of killing me.
We walked through the school gate, and made our way to the classroom that we were assigned to.
"Hey, I'm in classroom 4. What about you?" EL asked.
"I'm in classroom 6.."
"Oh.. that means we're not in the same class."
"Yea.." I said, almost breaking down to tears.
So I guess this is fate.
This is how cruel reality is.
