Back at School

POV: Hoshi

After hours of practice, singing is finally over.
I grabbed my water bottle and took a sip before going to the ground floor and wait for EL to arrive.

I climbed down the stairs and noticed a crowd. Curiously, I quickened my speed and walked towards the crowd.

Looks like the swimming team has arrived. I scanned around the students and finally found her.

"EL!" I shouted, running towards her and giving her a big hug.

"Hey, how's singing?"
"Great. It's relaxing." I lied.

Singing is great. But the problem is that it's not a single bit relaxing. I was shivering the whole entire time, ever since the instructor introduced himself. He sounded scary and he was very straight when talking towards us. I couldn't relax during the whole practice since I was scared that I would be scolded by him.

"How's swimming?"
"Oh and speaking of that, come with me." she replied, dragging me to a quieter corner.

"Why'd you pull me here?"
"Listen, my swimming instructor is Mr Nic."
"What?! You mean your Geography teacher?" I replied, shocked.
"Yeah, him. He'll be my swimming instructor for the whole entire training."
"Oh god. Are you okay with that?"
"Well, I'm okay."
"You sure? You know you could tell the teacher if you want to change instructor."
"Mr Nic is okay. No need to change."
"If you say so." I sighed.

Moments later, the school bell rang.
Lunch time.

We walked to the cafeteria and went separate ways to get our food.

Not long, we got our food and drinks and settled down at a clean table. I ordered udon while she got Yakitori. We sat there and ate our food while chatting.

For some reason, while chatting, our topic smoothly changed to Mr Nic.

"Hoshi, when swimming, I accidentally touched Mr Nic's hand! And I promise you that it was 100% accidental."
"What?! You touched.." I said, not believing."
"I don't believe you." I shook my head.
"Oh god, when did I ever lie to you?"
"Uhm, never?" I replied.
"Exactly. So I'm telling the truth."
"I still can't believe it."
"What do you want me to do in order for you to believe me?" she said, in a frustrated voice.

I thought for a while and gave a reply.

"Well.. Maybe ask Mr Nic. Then I'll believe you."
"Oh my god. He doesn't even know that that even happened!! He's literally gonna be clueless."
"Alright. You leave me no choice but to believe you." I said, surrendering.

Mr Nic seems to be always with EL.
Does he.. Like her too?
Impossible.
A teacher wouldn't like his/her student.
Right..?

So, from the past few chapters. We can tell that Mr Nic is ALWAYS with EL. Like fate wants to make them become together. But is it possible?
