The mood in the Forger household was more than damper the morning after the orientation. After the events that had transpired, no one could find it in them to be cheery. Especially Loid who pretty much accepted the fact that his mission was a lost cause. And Anya...poor girl was guilt ridden, almost avoiding breakfast completely if you hadn't convinced her to come out of her room.

"Sorry I messed up at school," Anya mumbled, barely touching her breakfast.

"No, it's all my fault," Yor said with an equally depressed look on her face.

Loid sighed. "What's done is done. It's fine as long as you've learned your lesson and don't get into anymore fights. So chin up. Today you and Y/n are starting class."

The atmosphere lightens up ever so slightly. Breakfast finishes with small conversation. Afterwards, you and Anya get dressed in your uniforms and gather your schoolbags. Loid waits with you both outside until the bus comes. He says a few words to Anya through the window while you go take a secluded seat near the back where the older students seemed to be. Most ignored your presence completely, which didn't hurt your feelings.

Once the last kid sat down, the bus driver closed the doors and headed to Eden College.

When the bus finally arrives at the school, you're one of the last ones to get off. You look for Anya, but see that a dark haired girl with pigtails, who seems to be her age, already was talking to your niece. A small smile ghosts your lips. At least she already made one friend. That eased some of your anxieties.

"Hey! Y/n!" Someone shouts making you jump suddenly. A fancy black car was pulling up to the school. Jasmine had her head out the window, waving excitedly at you. Your eye twitches slightly in annoyance. You didn't like the unwanted attention.

The car didn't even come to a complete stop before Jasmine was jumping out of the vehicle. Chelsea scrambles after her. "Wait! Jasmine!"

"Hey! Hey! Good Morning! Ready for the first day?" Jasmine rambles. You duck to dodge her hug.

"What are you doing?" You deadpan.

"Going to class with my friends. Duh!" Jasmine smiles.

"I didn't realize we were friends," you mutter.

Jasmine ignores your comment. She then wraps her arm around Chelsea who nearly stumbles over her feet. There is a large excited smile on her face which starkly contrasts the poor white-ette's confused and panicked one. "Chelsea here was nice enough to give me a ride."

Chelsea's face burns red. "Y-you were really insistent on walking the whole way."

"It was only a few kilometers. Nothing different from back home."

"But you surely would have been late!"

While the two are scwabling, you watch as another sleek and expensive car pulls up. The driver gets out of the car to open the rear door. Out steps Hinako, looking as poised and proper as ever. As she walks by, Chelsea and Jasmine cease their chatter. Hinako doesn't say a single word to either of you and heads into the building.

"She sure is rude," Jasmine scoffs.

"Perhaps she's just focused," Chelsea suggests. "After all, it's the first day. Everyone wants to make a good first impression."
