Irene drived to BGC, luckily Imee fetched Ferdie earlier before the incident happened. She entered the bar and Irene almost gagged because of the scents, alcohol and smokes can be smell on the place, Irene walked around and she saw Leo sitting in a chair talking to them bartender "oh you're already there" Leo said as Irene sat beside him "Just because I'm the one who invented you, that doesn't mean you need to be 10 minutes early" Irene said to him
"Kasi Irene, gusto kong malaman ng mga proper and nice lady like you na hinihintay ko sila" Leo said to Irene "Leo, you really are a good man" Irene said and Leo just chuckled "kaso mas type ng girls like you yung mga cool and debonair diba" Leo said to Irene "but in the end I left that pathetic debonair" Irene said bitterly and Leo looked at her in concerned "are you ok Irene, I also noticed that you're drenched in water tapos mugto pa yung eyes mo, umiyak ka ba" Leo asked her concerned
"Of course ok na ok nga ako eh" Irene said as she stand up and put her arms around leo "I'm a lucky women, I got myself a thoughtful and caring friend, people will envy me" Irene said to him with a smile "hey you, Mr kung sino ka man, gusto kong uminom" Irene said as she called the bartender
"What does a pretty lady like you want to drink" the bartender said to Irene "Hey don't flirt with me, I only allowed my husband to do that, pero in second thought I'm single kaya go ahead" Irene said with a smile "ok miss, so ano gusto mo" The bartender chuckled "I want you to give me the most expensive and strongest whiskey you have here" Irene said and the bartender looked at her shock but nodded his head
"Sobrang tapang nun ah, gusto mo bang malasing" leo asked her "excuse me mr Villafuerte, don't underestimate a woman like me, dahil ba I'm a middle-aged na, excuse di porket lalaki that doesn't mean kaya mo ako talunin" Irene said and the bartender give her a glass of fire whiskey
"Teka Irene, wag mo ya-" before he even finish what he's about to say, Irene chugged the whole cup, Irene stared at the distance and sat down and stared at him blankly "Irene ok ka lang ba talaga" Leo asked her again "napaka lucky ko dahil, hindi ko na kailangan mainlove sa isang debonair na kagaya niya, na manloloko at nananakit" Irene said before putting her head in his shoulder before taking another shot
Leo look at her in shock "Irene tara na hindi mo na kaya yan" Leo said as he helped Irene stand "ano ba Leonardo, gusto ko pang uminom, can't you see I'm enjoying this" Irene said and leo took the cup away from her as he helped her walk outside the bar "ano ba bitawan mo nga ako" Irene said as she pushed leo away from her
She leaned on the wall and let herself fall on the ground before crying really hard "bakit ang sakit, ako yung may gusto nito, I asked him to let me go pero bakit ako yung lalong nasasaktan" Irene cried and Leo just hugged her, Irene cried on his embrace "gusto ko to, ginusto ko to diba dapat masaya ako, bakit lalo akong nasasaktan" Irene asked him while Crying
"I'll bring you back home Irene" Leo said as he helped Irene walked back to her house, he can't drive, he's also drunk he don't want to be in an accident, "leo gusto ko pang uminom" Irene said while walking inside her gate "no tama na Irene, you're drunk" Leo said as he pressed the doorbell of Irene's house
After a few minutes, someone finally opened the door, it reveals nanay siony "Irene nako kang bata ka, lasing na lasing ka" Nanay siony said "Leo dalhin mo siya sa kwarto niya dali" Siony said and leo helped Irene walked "Hi nanay siony" Irene said in a drunk voice
"Leo give me that drink, gusto ko pa uminom I'm not drunk yet" Irene said as leo helped her to be in bed "just lay down there Irene" Leo said "oh ito honey mixed in water pampatanggal ng hangover" nanay Siony said as she passed the drink to Irene
After drinking the remedy, Irene put the cup on the night stand and she saw her wedding ring "ano ba yang trash na yan, throw that, ayaw kong makita yang singsing na yan" Irene said to them "pero Irene yan yu-" she cutted Siony off "sabing itapon nyo nayan eh" Irene irritatedly said "ok sige itatapon ko na" siony said as she get the ring from the table, while Leo is just watching, Irene lost her consciousness and Leo just fixed her blanket
Morning came fast, Irene is still asleep peacefully, when she was woken up by the hit of the sunlight "a-aray" Irene yelped as she sat up on her bed, she looked around and she noticed that she's at her room, she remembered everything that happened yesterday, the way leo take care of her everything
Irene get of the bed and decided to go down to eat breakfast, she go to Celestine's room first when she realized that Celestine wasn't there, she's with Greggy 'tsk, iniwan na nga ako ni Greggy, iniwan pa ako ng anak ko' Irene thought while walking down the stairs
She saw leo in the dinning are preferring the breakfast "buti gising ka na" Leo said to Irene as he stand up and gave her a juice "here drink this to reduce your headache" Leo said "good morning, teka leo, didn't you go home last night" Irene asked him
"Yes, actually I stayed to take carw of you kawawa ka naman, Manang Ellen called me, hindi daw makakauwi si Celestine dahil lasing daw sila nila Greggy, Santiago, yung Ellie, tapos yung kapatid ni Greggy, nag-inom daw sila kagabi" Leo said to Irene "ay oo nga pala Irene, mamaya yung daan nung truck ng basura, naitapon ko na lahat ng pinapatapon mo" Siony said and Irene looked at her confused "ano yung pinapatapon ko, wala akong maalala" Irene said
"Yung wedding at promise ring nyo ni Greggy kasama yung mga pictures nyong dalawa" Siony said "s-saan nyo tinapon" Irene asked them as she stand up "uhm doon sa basurahan sa labas" Siony said and Irene immediately run outside, not caring about the gloomy weather, both leo and Siony followed her outside
Irene saw the trashcan and she opened it immediately, she tried to find the ring "nasaan na yun" Irene removed everything "Irene tumayo ka jan madumi jan" Leo said as he went to Irene "no leo, hanapin natin yung singsing, please, tulungan mo ako hanapin yun Please" Irene pleaded while crying
While looking, Leo saw the ring and showed it to Irene, she immediately get the ring from him and cried "I'm wrong leo, I still love him, mahal ko pa siya, pero pinakawalan ko na siya" Irene cried "bakit ganito, gusto ko siyang kalimutan pero hindi ko magawa, I want him back to me, gusto kong mabalik yung dating kami" Irene cried
Leo just hugged Irene and he let her cried on his embrace, loving someone is painful, but being in love with wrong person is very painful, it's easy to let go but forgetting all the shared memories you shared with the person is the hardest thing you'll ever experience in terms of breakup, The worst feeling in the world is when you can't love anyone else because your heart still belongs to the one who broke it.
