Your POV
The warmth of the tent appears to pull me out of my deep sleep. I still feel Levi's arms wrapped around me. I must have rolled over in my sleep, leaving him to cuddle up to my ass, which I'm sure he has no problems with.
Ugh, I don't want to get up, but I need to check on Seth... And I should probably update Levi on what's been going on. He noticed me tremor last night, he knows.
I shuffle a little bit so I can turn around and see the oh so adorable sleeping Levi face... But when I turn around, I see his trademark glare instead. He must have woken up just before me.
"When were you going to tell me?"
"About my mistress? Well, you can't expect me to drop her just because you decided to show up one day. Damnit, Hange swore me to secrecy too, and here she goes spilling the beans..." I smile playfully at him.
"You know what I'm talking about." He replies, unphased and undeterred by my tangent, I guess he is used to it at this point... And he probably expected it, he doesn't even flinch anymore. Am I losing my touch?
Yeah... Maybe... But, if I'm going down, I'll always go down swinging. But what do I say? I mean, it's not confirmed that it's the tremors coming back... Maybe my blood sugar was low, or I've had too much caffeine. (Y/n), bitch, your hand started shaking after you had chocolate and strawberries, don't do this. I promised myself I would face things head on; lead by example, as it were.
"I know you're arguing with yourself," Levi rests his forehead against mine, "it shows on your face, stupid. Just talk me through what's happening."
I suppose I'll start with what he is referring to, "The first few times I was able to explain it away to myself. But, I'm not even fooling myself anymore. I guess there really is no denying that my tremors are coming back."
I can feel Levi tense up in my arms, I think he knew what I was going to say, but for me to actually say it without joking is another experience altogether, "Have you spoken with Thompson?"
"No, I've only just accepted it just now," I shake my head, "I haven't really had an opportunity to do so. I have not been to the orphanage, I don't want to put them in danger. I've only just noticed the tremors and only just now accepted it. I try to explain it away the last few times it's happened."
I know he wants to inquire more into how long this has been going on, and express his frustrations about me not telling him sooner, but he's trying not to do that.
"Okay, but you have to talk to him. He can help you, right? Yelena took some titan spinal fluid vials while she was in Marley. Take some and give them to Thompson so he can figure it out. You know he won't experiment on anyone else now."
I'm reminded of the formula that is currently sitting in a drawer in my office, the one David Sanderson gave me... The one I decided to hang onto for Seth. But I still want to save that one for Seth, I don't know how long it takes Peter to make his formula.
If Seth is anything like me, if he does have the same issues, he probably won't show any signs until he's around 11 years old... But I don't know that for sure, I don't have anything to compare it to other than me. However, maybe Peter will still have enough time to make another formula, right? It definitely doesn't take that long. And I think I would trust Peter's formula more than David's.
"I don't have to do that to get another formula." I comment.
"What do you mean?"
I lick my lips, nervous that Levi might yell at me for not telling him about the formula I have in my possession already. Also because he may talk me into taking it rather than hang onto it for Seth.
