Your POV

I burst through the door of the house and I'm surprised to see that there is no one on the other side of the door. I thought there would at least be a few guards... I enter what looks like a living room area. There is not a lot of furniture in here, a couple couches and a table, but that's about it.

"Celeste!" I yell as my patience quickly runs out, "Get out here! Don't make me come and find you!"

But I am met with only silence. I lean on the lead pipe I brought with me, deciding on where I should look first. Suddenly, I hear movement to my right and automatically raise my pipe, expecting to be ambushed by guards or even Celeste.

Ready for a fight I swing my pipe through the air. But whoever was there caught the pipe with ease and stepped out of the darkness.

"Erwin?" My eyes go wide when I see his tall frame step fully into the light, "What are you doing here?"

Flashback... a couple hours earlier...

Author's POV

Erwin was trying to figure out what he was going to say to Celeste when he got there, that's if she truly is there. Knowing she has hurt you so deeply, he feels conflicted about getting her out of the way. But he knows it's what is best for you. And if that means getting Celeste out of harms way for now, that's what he is going to have to do.

He didn't know what he was going to do or say to you when you find out. He just hopes that you will understand one day why he is going to do what he has to.

He reaches Laurie's Lounge and looks around at the buildings across from it. There were 3 houses that were across from the place, one directly in front, the other 2 slightly to the sides. He wasn't sure which one Asher could have been referring to.

He decided to try the house on the right first, but there is no answer. He pressed his ear up against the door to see if he can hear any signs of life. But there is nothing. He tries looking through the windows, but the house seems to be completely vacant. He decided to move on to the one in the middle next.

Erwin knocked loudly on the door and waited for a response. At first he didn't hear anything and as he was about to move on, he heard some shuffling sounds behind the door. As if someone were pressed against the door. If it were a normal resident of the house, why would they not just answer the door? This person didn't want Erwin to know they were there.

"Celeste?" Erwin called to her and he heard an audible gasp, "Open the door."

Celeste stayed behind the door though, hoping that maybe if she didn't move again and kept quiet, he would think he just thought he heard a shuffling sound. However, Erwin wasn't going to budge.

"(Y/n) knows where you are," Erwin finally told her, "That's how I was able to find you. Open the door."

Celeste's blood goes cold, she felt like she couldn't breathe, panic beginning to set in. She knew this was going to happen at some point, but she wasn't prepared for it to happen this soon.

'What else do I have to lose?' She thought to herself as she opened the door to let Erwin in.

Celeste stepped aside and allowed Erwin to push past her, "How is (y/n)?" Celeste asks Erwin quietly, unable to meet his scalding gaze. She knew she ought not ask that, but she couldn't help it.

"Don't say her name to me," Erwin growled at her, "You helped drive her into the position she is in right now. You don't get to act like you care now."
