well, really it was just a sheet with the eyes cut out, but who would put in more effort than that for a ghost.
you were grinning from ear-to-ear, very proud of your new costume that went down to your feet.
eleven had a matching one on as you both exit the bedroom and walk over to hopper, standing silently behind him.
he was cooking breakfast and didn't seem to notice either of you for a while.
but eventually, he turned around, jumping and shouting "oh, jesus!"
"ghost" eleven says.
"yeah, i see that" hopper says, unimpressed.
"halloween" eleven continues, you both shuffling your feet to turn and watch hopper as he puts two plates of french toast on the table.
"sure is, but right now it's breakfast, okay?" he puts the pan in the sink, "come on, let's eat" he grabs his cup of coffee.
"they wouldn't see us" eleven says softly.
