AFTER YOU APPARENT MENTAL BREAKDOWN, YOU WENT SILENT.
your head was basically empty. the voice that rung in in your head tried to pry the thoughts from you but they were utterly dormant.
you barely moved from your position, slumped against a tree. sometimes, you would walk to find a better spot, but aside from that you lay still, usually laying on the leafy ground to stare dully up at the birds.
the usual shine in your eyes had dulled.
you felt a monster.
like you were a horrible, inhumane being for doing what you did.
were you even a human? at this point, it'd be plausible to say you were anything but.
you acted more of a demon. a demon just like the ones in that show you used to watch, the one your apparently dead adopted father would restrict you from watching, murmuring about it being 'too gorey'.
that didn't matter now, did it, though?

radio silence.
yeah, yeah. you're upset. whatever. get over it. he's not coming back, you just need to suck it up.
the silence was less gentle, now more suffocating.
there was a whiles silence from the other line, until there was a light cough, a clearing of throat, perhaps.

you had sat up, no longer laying absentmindedly on the grass and instead staring slightly wide-eyed at the space in front of you.
