"RISE AND SHINE"
you rub your eyes, slowly opening them.
you pout as you see hopper, both you and eleven turning over. you smush your face into her back.
"so that's it, huh? you're still not talking?"
you both keep silent.
hopper sighs, "all right. i guess i'm just gonna have to, uh.. enjoy this triple-decker eggo extravaganza on my own and i'm just going to keep this, very, very soft, and very, very, very big dog teddy, then, too"
both of your eyes go wide, you both shoot out of bed, rushing out.
you both sit down at the table, eleven hungrily eyeing the three-layered eggo extravaganza which had whipped cream and chocolate, and you eyeing the massive dog teddy sitting against the wall.
hopper smiles, nodding at you and then over at the teddy and cutting into the eggos.
you beam, bouncing out of your chair and belly-flopping onto the massive teddy.
you wrap your arms around it as far as you could go, which was barely around it's stomach.

you grin from ear-to-ear, running over and hugging hopper's leg tightly, shoving your face in his leg.
he smiles, ruffling your hair.
meanwhile, him and eleven were digging into the triple-deckered eggo extravaganza.
you run back to your teddy, jumping onto it face-first and laying on it.
"mmm!" hopper hum shouts, "mmmm!"
you both look at him, you go dot-eyed.
"good, right? and you know the great thing about it? it's only 8,000 calories" he nods, you tilt your head.
his eyes trail the cord running from the wall to your room.
"you visited him again last night?" he asks eleven.
eleven glances at him before looking down.
"he says he needs me" she says.
"you want me to go check on him?" hopper asks, eleven shakes her head.
"i know that you miss him, alright? but it's too dangerous. you're the last thing he needs right now. you're gonna see him. soon. and not just in that head of yours. you're gonna see him in real life. i feel like i'm making progress with these people"
eleven leans forward, her eyebrows furrowed.
"friends don't lie"
"what?"
"you say 'soon' on day 21. you say 'soon' on day 205. you now say 'soon' on day 326?" eleven says angrily.
hopper sighs in annoyance, "what is this? you're like counting the days now like you're some kind of prisoner?"
"when is 'soon'?" eleven questions angrily, you frown slightly, sitting up and pulling your teddy over your knees.
" 'soon' is when.. it's not dangerous anymore"
"when?"
hopper shakes his head, "i don't know"
"on day 500?"
"i don't know"
"on day 600?"
"i don't know"
"day 700?" eleven says louder.
"on day 800?"
"no!"
eleven slams her fists on the table, "i need to see him!"
"i said i-!!"
"tell me!" eleven shouts, using her powers to push everything on the table back on it.
he stands up with a shout.
"oh! shit! shit!"
eleven stands up as well, "friends don't lie!"
you frown deeply, eyes watering slightly as you hug your teddy tighter.
eleven storms off to her room, slamming the door behind her with her powers.
hopper kicks the table angrily.
you sniffle, burying your face in your teddy.
