As the day drew to a close, the classroom buzzed with activity as everyone started packing up. The advisory teacher attended to her little students, who eagerly awaited their parents' arrival. He could hear his classmates saying their goodbyes, their small hands held by parents or guardians. Meanwhile, he sat on his chair, his legs dangling, watching the sunset through the window. The peaceful colors painted across the sky brought a small smile to his chubby face. His attention was drawn to the voice of a little girl running toward him.

"Saint! My mommy is here. Bye bye!" Little Freen exclaimed, grabbing his hands excitedly before running off towards her mother waiting at the door.

"Okay, bye bye! See you tomorrow!" he responded.

When she was out of his sight, another little kid approached him. The kid tapped his shoulder, grabbing his attention.

"Ha... look, I told you, it's my nanny again," little Seng sighed at the arrival of his nanny.

"It's because your daddy is working," he replied.

"I know. I gotta go. Bye bye, Saint! See you!" Little Seng hopped down from his chair and went over to his nanny waiting for him at the door.

"Yeah, bye bye!" Saint responded.

There were about four little students left in the classroom, including himself, waiting to be picked up by their parents. He glanced at the door when he heard someone approaching, sighing when it wasn't someone there for him. Turning his attention back to the window, he watched as the sun began to set, knowing it would soon start to dim. He wasn’t worried, confident that his parents would pick him up no matter what. So he stayed calmly on his chair, patiently waiting for them.

Just as he was about to open a book resting on his desk, a very familiar voice of a little boy stole his attention. He immediately focused on the door.

"Saaaaaiiiiinnnt!"

The little boy yelled his name excitedly as he ran towards him. A bright smile spread across his face when he saw the familiar boy calling his name. The little boy pounced on him, catching him off guard and nearly making them fall from the chair.

"Sorry, I'm late," little Zee apologized, panting.

"Wh... why you late?" Saint stuttered, patting Zee's shoulder with his little hands.

"Because I forgot to do my math homework," Zee said, embarrassed.

"Pfft!" Saint immediately covered his mouth to stop himself from laughing.

Little Zee glanced at Saint's face, now coated with pinkish cheeks. He glared when Saint started laughing loudly.

"Stop laughing! I have snacks. I won't give you any," Little Zee pouted.

Saint stopped laughing at the mention of snacks. Little Zee always shared something to eat whenever they met, so he immediately obeyed, smiling eagerly.

Little Zee unzipped his little koala backpack and reached for the snack. He quickly handed it over, and Saint eagerly grabbed it from him.

"I know you love them too, so I left you some," Little Zee said as he zipped his bag.

"I love chocolate chip cookies! Three pieces? Let's share," Saint replied, offering Little Zee a piece.

"I'm ful-"

He shoved the cookie into Little Zee's small mouth, silencing him. Little Zee surrendered to the action, and they both ate the cookie happily while waiting for their parents. After devouring the cookie, they decided to play with the Rubik's Cube that he had brought along. Little Zee tried to solve the complicated colored cube first, focusing on the red color to start, but he couldn't even match three small squares of the same color. Little Zee could hear Saint giggling in front of him at his poor performance.

They continued fooling around when suddenly, the teacher called him over because his dad had finally arrived. He rushed forward excitedly to meet his dad, with Little Zee following suit.

"I'm sorry, my son. Daddy is very late, yet again. Did you wait long?" His dad brushed his side bangs with an apologetic tone.

"I'm fine. Little Zee is with me while we wait for you," he reassured his dad.

His dad glanced at Little Zee and gave him a smile, patting his head in gratitude. They all hopped into the car, with both little kids squeezed in beside the driver's seat because Little Zee wanted them to sit together.

They almost reached their house, but his dad took a detour to drop Little Zee off at his house first. After seeing Little Zee off, they finally headed home.

"Mom, we're home," he greeted his mom, who was waiting for them.

"My little bunbun, how was school?" His mom asked, embracing him warmly.

"Little Zee gave me snacks, and we played..." he began excitedly, recounting his day at school.

And his rambling continued until dinner. His parents explained why they had picked him up late—it was due to unexpected meetings with clients that ran later than expected.

Meanwhile, at Little Zee's house, after his uncle dropped him off, he went straight to his room to change into his pajamas. He then had dinner, prepared for him by his nanny.

"There's no need to turn off the light in a room that has never had light from the beginning."
