It's early in the morning, it's our last day here in Quezon City, my grandmother woke me up.
"Why? what's wrong and I'm sleepy." My grandmother said,
"Kikoy, fix yourself we're going out of town here before we leave!"
I feel like I don't want to come. I'm so lazy to get up, I want to sleep. My grandmother stared at me.
"It's our last day here in Quezon City but before that, we're going to a church that looks like a castle. We're going to your kuya boy's house and we're going somewhere that is not really expensive but worth of fun."
Alright. I got up so haggard and made myself ready for the trip.
As I went upstairs after I took a bath, put my clothes on and ready myself. My phone was on the ground near by the door. "What the hell my phone is doing here." I pick up my phone, when i turned the screen on, "Love and Soul" "Oh, wow, the torrent just finished downloading."
I downloaded this album of Jireh Lim last night. "Wow, that's a perfect timing for music on a trip."
Meanwhile my grandmother shouted with that really high pitch from the ground floor of the house. "Ano na kamo? Tara na kay damo pa tat kakadtuan! Aadi na iyo kuya boy, adi na tat service!"
I jumped on the van quickly with my Earpods on.
(in the van)
"Okay maybe we're out of town already!" I can't saw the tall buildings no more. All I can see was trees and villages. "By the way, I'm hungry."
Kuya boy just bought us lechon manok for our lunch. We went to his house for our lunch. For now, It's the best lunch really served when I'm in Manila. That rich smell of the Sinigang with that hot served tasty soup plus the holy roast chicken, well I don't know even what's calories. "Well this is really bae. Food for life."
After we eat, Kuya boy guide us to go to their second floor. We're in their balcony. Watching the beautiful view.
"What's in there kuya boy?" Kuya boy said
"I will point to you where we will go."
He pointed the tallest building in the view.
"You can see that tallest building that looks like a castle?"
I look up very careful,
"That's the building where we will go."
We're really amazed and a little bit excited.
"What's that called Kuya Boy?"
"It's called the Grotto. It's a church that looks like a castle but sadly in this time it is not yet finished."
Just a few tour explanations, we went down and ready ourselves to go.
"Okay! time to go to Grotto!"
A small time matched. We've just approached to the location. Grotto was really beautiful. I was like assuming I'm on a castle. "Hahaha baga lat true!" As usual we took pictures from the beautiful Grotto. My other relatives prayed. I prayed too, but not that long. I went up stairs. I'm wondering there's more higher than here where I'm located "Hmm, what's up in there?" I opened the broken door, I saw something, there's another stair there. I'm supposed to enter the room.
"Sir, hindi po pwede punasok diyan dahil kinukumpuni pa, baka ka mahulugan ng debris"
I get down and went back to my relatives. "Sayang waray ako maka kadto igbaw-igbawan!"
After we visit the Grotto. We went to the mall. We bought some pasalubong to our families in Tacloban City. Also, we bought a guitar in the mall that just cost 750. Well that's really affordable. We bought it unexpectedly.
Finally went home in Quezon City to pack up our things!. "I'm so tired, but hell yeah worth it!"
"Wow, the days were so fast! We're leaving." It's 4am in the morning and we gonna ready ourselves to a 24-hour bus trip to Tacloban. Seriously I'm not that habituated to the environment of vehicles. I'm a car sicked human being.

First of all, this was one of the biggest challenges that I ever experienced. Thankfully I survived with this shit, but I cried. My very own charger died while I'm on travel. I'm really wondering why my charger was not working anymore. Maybe it's because of excessive charging while using the phone. "Well, well Find X why u do this" There were extra chargers anyway but my phone is very choosy when it comes to chargers. "Time to say goodbye my friend. This is just temporary" Well, this was really sad.
Finally, I just saw that bridge that will tell me that we're approaching Tacloban City. The first thing, I'm thinking when I step home is to check my charger. Well, there's no more chance either. It's dead. "Rest in peace my cutie charger" I said with my imaginary tears.
So, now. I'm just borrowing my father's charger. I need to charge my phone. My phone was already my something that you called life. The charger's wire is very short but this is just the available charger that's compatible with my phone. So, I changed my routine of doing such things. I'm not using my phone everytime anymore. If it is time to charge, I'll not use my phone, because of that, I'm back to computers.
