The next morning...

Your POV

The sunshine rays burn through my window as it shone over my face. I stirred in my sleep and I felt a everlasting sweet morning tangerine scent, along with a warmth wrapped around me. I opened my eyes as I see Loid hugging me. I gulped in nervousness but to only feel a burning sensation in my throat. I suddenly recollect what happened last night.

Loid saved me.

I stared at his peaceful features. His relaxed complexion as the sun's rays made his blonde hair glow ever so brightly, giving it a soft glow. His pale skin shimmered in the sunlight. His chest rising and falling slowly, signaling his deep slumber. His soft rough hands holding me close. Somehow... I feel like I never want this moment to end.

Loid is the first guy, I interact with. Apart from my butler, guards, chef, my father and a few guests, of course. But like first guy I can feel comfortable with.

Loid starts to stir in his sleep as his face turns to where the sun is, illuminating his face, which caused him to yawn and wake up.

I panicked as I was about to pull away, but he pulled me closer, turning his body away from the sun. My cheeks heat up and I really want to scream. I guess my knowledge of spies in books were a lie. I read that they're light sleepers. But clearly this one is a deep one. I gulped wanted to escape his grasp. I mean I don't mind. But I don't want to make things weird between us. Though just knowing each other for one day.

I breathed in slowly as I try to calm my pounding heart. 'Ok. Calm down. There's a way out of this right?' I looked around my bed, but I mentally cursed at myself that my bed pillows are on the ground. I slowly grabbed my pillow, slowly lifting it but something stop my actions.

"I'm.. an horrible spy... I'm... sorry princess.." he mumbled as gripped my body, securing me. And he relaxed knowing I'm there. My heart ached as he must've felt guilty for not being at my side to protect me. I mean... he doesn't look like the type to even have emotions. But I believe there's more to meet the eye. He starts to stir again and I immediately closed my eyes pretending to sleep. Though it's probably impossible to fool him. I slowed my breathing and remained calm. I felt one of his hands slip away from me and it was pressed against my forehead. "Her fever is gone. That's good." He mutter under his breath. I felt a strong gaze on me and I couldn't bare it, and I opened my eyes to met with his ocean eyes. I can see guilt in them.

   "Good morning, Loid." I slightly smiled.

   "Good morning, your highness. Sorry in advanced if you don't remember last night and to why I'm in... your.. bed," a light blush appeared on his face. I furrowed a bit in confusion and then followed his gaze and I looked down at my spaghetti strapped silky V-lined gold nightgown. I blushed and sat up, but gripping my head in the process as my head started to ache. My bed creaked a bit and I hear water being poured, and a shuffle in a bag. "Here, your highness." He handed me a cup of water and a pill. Which I was cautious of. "Don't worry. It's a painkiller. The after effects of the anti-poison still doing it's job, will 'cause a migraine and sore throat. So I recommend staying in bed," Loid says casually.

   "What happened exactly? I only remembered waking up and only certain parts. Saying that I'm safe. And saving my strength," I said as I gulped the water after popping the pill into my mouth.

He looks down as I saw another blush appear on his face before he hid it from me. "Forgive me, your highness. The only way to give you the antidote of the poisoning, was to put it into water and give it to you.. mouth to... mouth." My heart pounded like crazy as I spat my water.

"WHAT?!?!"

I requested on of my guards to get my father and mother to my room. And when they came in, they confirmed the events.

"It's true sweetie..." my mother smiled.

"Though I don't approve the whole mouth to mouth thing, but I trust him in knowing what he was doing. So I didn't protest." My father closed his eyes as he crossed his arms.

Un.... believable...

    Wait....

    I HAD MY FIRST KISS WITH LOID?!
