   Several weeks has passed, I started to get used to my new life. I haven't stepped outside on my own yet. Loid thinks "it isn't safe for a princess to just go around and get lost, your highness. What if someone truly knew your real identity? What if you get kidnapped? What if I'm not around and something happens to you?"

   For a spy, he surely thinks every possible outcome.

   But I have noticed that his mood started to change, as his work gets more intense and tiring. Taking a toll on him. He's here for a few hours and then he's off.

    Luckily, he did take time off to get us a new home. Since also Loid has been sleeping on the couch during my first week. He also got me clothes and things to blend in with the crowd to be a civilian woman.

   It has been hard on me knowing my parents are dead, as I couldn't give them a proper Roseina funeral tribute. Which included a crowd, televised showing, roses, unveiling of the royal family tradition painting, my speech, and coronation. Though I can't do it now, but soon I will. When Loid's away, I painted my own royal family painting.

I wish I knew how is it going back home. Knowing Chevie... he won't write a letter to me.

I shake my head out of the clouds and focused on the sketch at hand.

"Is this Anya's home?" I heard a little girl ask.

"Um.. yeah. It is." Loid replied. "Y/n. I'm home." He called.

I wiped my hands on my apron trying to get rid of the pencil led and walked over to Loid.

"Welcome home. You're awfully early than usual, Loid." I looked down at the little girl. 'She reminds me of when I was cute and adorable at her age. Oh how the royal guards and staff dawn over my cuteness. Oh how times flies.'

"Anya this is my roommate, Y/n. Y/n, this is anya my daughter." Loid says.

"I'm princess Anya!" The little girl says excitedly.

"Nice to meet you, princess Anya." I smiled and curtsy out of habit.

"Papa.. I'm hungry." Anya turns to him tugging his suit.

"Why don't you two get to know each other, while I prepare food?" He says as he takes off his coat and heads to room to change, before entering the kitchen.

"So Anya, how old are you?" I asked.

"Six!"

"Wow... you're a big girl!" I held my hands up and she immediately entwined them with her small ones. "You remind me of when I was little."

"Really?" Her eyes sparkled.

"Mm-hmm." I nod. "What do you like?"

"Draw! Watch TV! And peanuts! I love peanuts! Oh! I love papa! And now you!" She hugs me and I hugged back her little figure.

   My heart melted, when I hear her say she loves me too. Though we met only for a couple of minutes.

   "Wow! I love those things too!!" I grinned.

   "You love papa too?" She tilted her head in curiosity.

   My face heats up and I let go of her hands, to wave them in saying 'no'. "I mean- not like that! He's my friend, thats all." I looked down. 'He's is my friend. All thats left to remember what's my own mission, and why I fled my kingdom. He's my protector and friend. Nothing more.'

Her eyes lit up as she looks me with a goofy smile. "You like papa..." she grinned but lowered her voice.

"No I don't!!" I replied

She giggles. "Papa~ I'm hungry!"

"Food is almost ready!" Loid replied back.

"Anya... want to help me draw something while we wait?" I asked.

"Yeah!!" She jumps into my arms and I got up, while holding her and we went to my room.

"Wow!! Is this your room?"

"Yep!" I watched her take off her shoes and jumps onto my bed.

"So soft!!" She lays down. I walked over to my rough sketch and picked up my pencil, as I started to sketch. Anya walked up to me and I let her sit on my lap. "Who's that?"

"My parents."

"Where are they?"

I stopped my pencil and I felt my eyes sting. "They are..." 'how can you tell a kid that you're parents have been killed infront of your eyes and are dead?' "They are..."

She hugs me and I break down as I silently cry.
