A pleasant morning began in the sewers of New York, and with it the morning routine of the young mutant turtles.

The typical fight of who would use the bathroom first was taking place in the main hallway, the main participants being those in purple and blue masks. The absence of the youngest of the family puzzled the other boys, as he always came out on top in this confrontation. Even so, that did not stop the others from proceeding with the contest. The older boys would not let this unusual advantage go to waste.

After a while of fighting, Leo emerged the winner, provoking complaints from the two remaining brothers.

"You better hurry up. I have biological needs, you know?" Donatello said, addressing the one inside the bathroom.

"Okay, fine, just let me do my morning treatment"

"I thought we agreed that you would only do that if you were the last one in"

"Times change, brother, and my face doesn't look pretty by itself"

Raphael just watched as his two younger brothers argued, one on either side of the door. From time-to-time, Leo loved to annoy the genius of the family, because he always complained about their jokes and attitudes. Watching them fight like children gave him some amusement. Sometimes it seemed to him that they would never change.

He was thinking about that, until the youngest brother came along, looking tired and battered.

"Good morning, Mikey Did you sleep well?"

Before answering, the youngest gave a deep yawn, which already gave Raphael a hint about the possible answer.

"Not really" he answered, while rubbing his sleepy eyes.

"Insomnia?"

"Nah... Nightmares" Said the youngest, and then started walking away from his brothers.

"Hey, aren't you going to use the bathroom?"

"No, it's okay. I'll wash my face in the sink"

The older one watched as the younger one started his journey to the kitchen. He guessed that he just wanted to avoid arguing about the bathroom. After all, Mikey could transform if he didn't sleep, or eat, well. He could even get pretty scary at times when he got angry.

I didn't plan to stop him.

He just lifted his shoulders. Giving little importance to that unusual occurent.

Everyone had already eaten breakfast and Mikey had finished washing the last of the dirty dishes. After leaving all the dishes put away in the cupboard, he proceeded to sit on a chair near the table, so he could take a closer look at the device and the boy's kusari from the night before.

He had faced many yokais and mutants before. But something was really bothering him about that teenager.

Last night he had a horrible nightmare, about a huge, horrible beast, with a body made of blue fire and a head of a big canine. It was running after him, with clear intentions of ending his life. Just when he felt he was about to be devoured by the specter, he woke up suddenly. He was as pale as a ghost in the darkness of the night. It took him a while to realize that he had come back to reality. Sitting in his hammock and in the safety of his room. That dream left him very strange, because he usually didn't have nightmares of that kind. He usually dreamed about the horror movies he watched with his brothers or something he read about in comic books. But this was something totally new and it felt all too real. He felt he shouldn't take it lightly. Although he wasn't quite sure, he believed that this dream was somewhat related to the incident with the hooded guy the day before. He knew the boy was hiding something, but he didn't know exactly what it was.
