It would be a lie saying he's not handsome or cute. It would also be a lie saying he's not annoying at times and not freaking me out. But it also would be a lie saying that I'm not slowly falling for his charm, thinking about him nonstop and starting to see him in a different way than usual. But Am I going to admit all of this? no.

Our little friend group of 4 including Jungwon, Sunoo, Haewon and me, Eunji.

Wait, it's not really a friend group.

Like, My best friend Haewon is really good with Sunoo, so from time to time the three of us hang out. Later on, Jungwon transferred to our school and Sunoo befriended him and Jungwon started hanging out with us as well. The thing is, everytime we talk, we fight.

It's not like i don't like him, but i can't say that i do like him as well. There's something about him that irritates me. hes so.. judgy? and noisy? and definitely a know-it-all. But somehow I'm still attracted to him.

In conclusion, we don't get along that well.. but we kinda do?

"Eunji? Are you dead?" Haewon bluntly looked at me. "Are you daydreaming again?"

"Sorry, what were you saying?", "I said the rain isn't going to stop.. I hope it'll end quickly so we're not stuck here", "I have nothing against being stuck here. I just need more money, how long does it take them to get those damn coins?"

"Chill, you could have got it yourself.", an annoying voice resounded behind me. Of course none other than Jungwons.

"You said yourself you'll get some," I said rolling my eyes at him, "We only said that because we tried being gentlemens" Sunoo remarked behind Jungwon, popping his head out.

"Sure, Gentlemens." Haewon said amused while making her way to the entrance of the arcade followed by Sunoo and Jungwon. I slowly walked behind them, eyeing Jungwons back. He is drenched in water. Now I regret what I said earlier.

"You'll get sick." I murmured. He looked back smiling at me, "I'm good. thanks for your concern" he grinned, turning back.

It wasn't anything special or remarkable but that little movement, that little gesture, the sound in his voice, everything in that particular moment made my heart beat a little faster.

"He got what?", "high fever. Sunoo said so. He isn't feeling good either. Probably because they were running under the rain the other day", Haewon complained, "they never listen."

I just tied my shoe and got up. We were on our way to our classroom when she told me that both of them are absent today.

"What do you mean they run?", "you know, boys.. they had a race like who will arrive there first and childish things like that"

And I was wondering why I haven't seen them at the school gate today. We would always meet up there.

Why do I feel so bad though?

"We have to bring them today's homework, ugh, what a pain in the a-", "language, Haewon.", "Whatever. I'll take Sunoos since it's on my way to work. so Jungwon's for you.", "wait wait wait, can't you just bring both?", "Sure, I could also visit Japan today. Any other wishes?" she scoffed bluntly. I sighed.

I mean yeah, me taking Jungwons homework makes more sense since his home is closer to mine. But I have this strange feeling telling me not to go.

I'll just give it to his family. He probably won't open the door so just give it and go, easy peasy.
