"Eunji, where are you heading?", "sorry I'm getting late for my tutoring!"

People might think she's getting ready for the olympics, but no, Lee Eunji ist simply running to her tutor Jungwon, who is patiently waiting for her in one of their school's group rooms. She knows damn well if she's late again he's going to scold again.

"I'm here!" she called out, opening the door aggressively looking at the boy sitting on one of the chairs while being on his phone. "You're late.", "I fell asleep during economics."

He looked at her in disbelief. "Let's start quickly. I won't stay longer this time.", "You're so mean." I said, placing myself in front of him.

Please stay longer. Last time was so much fun. I was late again and we only had 30 minutes to go. I couldn't understand the topic so he stayed longer. Longer than needed. He even stayed after I understood. We talked a lot and laughed a lot. And you need to know that he rarely laughs or smiles. Everytime I see him in the hallway with his friends his face is unfazed and neutral. So him smiling because of me meant so much to me.

I guess it's obvious that I like him. I started liking him after he gave me math lessons. I always thought he's a rude brat, but that's not the case. He has this one soft look when he meets my eyes. And that little soft smile he flashes me everytime I tell him something irrelevant that has nothing to do with my lessons.

"Times up.", he announced getting up., "Wait-" I say trying to find an excuse so he can stay longer, "I'm still not sure about this one here."

he leaned over looking at the task I was showing him. My eyes widened, noticing how close he was to me. "We can look at this next time", he said looking down at me. "Please", I begged. I know it's embarrassing. He sighed, getting his chair and putting it right next to mine. He sat down looking over to me "eyes on the papers, not me."

He showed me how to do the task but with him being so close by my side.. How the actuall fuck am I supposed to concentrate? It seemed like he came closer and closer. His arm brushed mine from time to time but he seemed totally unfazed. I mean what do I expect?

I want to look at him. Is it okay to look at him?

As if my eyes had their own will they moved at him. His face was even closer than I thought. My heart was beating so fast I was afraid he was going to hear it with how close we were.

But he looked so cute. The words that escaped his mouth, not one i understood but that made him even more attractive.

"Do you get it now?" he asked, turning his head towards me.

centimeters. just a few centimeters between us.

"I'm not sure", I whispered. His eyes locked with mine. My breath got uneven and it seemed like my vision got blurry, so I grabbed his shirt down on the side. It was a reflex, I wasn't really thinking. Shortly after I heard him gulp. Just when his eyes landed on my lips for a second and back to my eyes "Should I explain it again?" he breathed.

My heart is going to explode.

I nodded slowly, "please."

I don't know if he was going to close the gap between us or if he was going to close the gap between us but he definitely was going to close the gap between us, if just that stupid friend of his wouldnt have called him. fucking shitface.

He looked at me surprised, got his phone and said something like 'Im on my way' to his friend. He grabbed his backpack, threw it over his shoulder and looked at me "See you next time."

And he was gone.
