{Imagine you and your ex husband, Prince, arguing on who's taking care of your daughter for the week.}

Y/n= Your Name

Warning: Light Swearing

"I told you I'm taking Alicia for the week!" You yelled. "You didn't told me anything, plus, last week I said I'm taking her to New York." Prince yelled back. You see, it's been six months since you and Prince gotten a divorce due to the fact you two would argued a lot, and have differences. You live in Connecticut where you want to live close to your parents.

You work as a secretary for a company three months ago, where is in Connecticut. You wanted your daughter, Alice to live in a calm environment. Prince is inarguably one of the greatest artist of all time, but his lifestyle isn't the best where you don't want your daughter to be in. Constant touring, interviews, and absences isn't good for Alicia.

"Prince, you have a show tonight there. Who'll be watching my daughter?!" You asked. "Our daughter. The people backstage can watch her, they know her. Plus, Alicia loves them and they all love her." You crossed your arms and shook your head. "The whole point is you taking care of her, not them." Prince groan in frustration. "Y/n, how the hell am I supposed to watch her while performing? I can't just take her right up the stage, use your common sense. Alicia stays in my dressing room where one of the crew members take care of her."

You run a hand through your hair and look away for a minute. You two stay quiet for a moment and Prince sigh. He walks up to you and rubs both of your hands. "I know my lifestyle can be crazy, but I always make sure Alicia is safe and happy. I'm not a neglected parent, has she complaint how I take care of her?" You didn't answer, still looking away. "Look, I don't wanna argue with you anymore. I want us to get along and be at peace. Y/n, let's do it for Alicia."

You sigh and remove his hands that were resting in your arms. "Yeah I know." You still weren't sure, but Prince have an idea. "How about this. You can come along, you can be in my dressing room and be at ease, yeah?" You were taking from surprise from his suggested, but it was a good one. You clear your throat and replied: "Alright, but I'm not doing it for you. I'm doing this for our daughter." Prince broke a small smile.

"I know, I'm very aware you hate my guts and-" "I don't hate you, Prince. I never did and never will. We just have a fallout that's all, you're not a bad person. Plus, you're the father of our child. I know you love her and you want the best for her, and I too. We just have our moments." Prince smile widely and nodded. "Yeah, we'll work on it, hun." You couldn't help, but blush a bit. Even though you and Prince are divorce, he still can make you blush and smile at times. Maybe because he's very sweet or maybe you still have some feelings for him.

Prince felt the same, but he knew you two can never work out. Those arguments, insults, it isn't good. For you, him, and Alicia. "Well, I should get going. The Revolution and I have to rehearse, my manager will send you someone to take you two there. So, I'll see you there then." He explained. You nod and follow him at the door, before he left, he came back and kiss your cheek. You gasp and Prince chuckle.

"Sorry for arguing with you, again. See you then." Prince walk away and got in the car where his two body securities where waiting on him. One of them shut the door for him and got in and the other began to drove off. You hold the cheek where he kissed you and thought; "Maybe there's a chance after all. Oh Prince, you're truly something."
