{Imagine sitting down with Tom to talk about something serious}

Warning: None

"Tom, I need to talk to you." You stated. You enter the living room and sat next to him on the couch, where he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. "Alright, what's up?" Tom asked. You shook your head. "I don't know where to begin, but I have to say it." Tom have a concern look on his face, he kisses your cheek.

"Is it bad?" He asked. "I don't know, Tom. I don't know if you'll take it wrong." Confused, he asked what you mean by that. You took a deep breath and blur it out. "I- I don't want kids." Silence fell upon... an awful silence. Tom just look at you not knowing how to react, or what to say.

You play with your hands, looking down. You didn't have the guts to look at him, afraid he'll get angry. Tom blink a few times, and clear his throat. "Oh um, wow. That was out of nowhere, when did you decide you didn't want kids?" "When I was sixteen, just the thought of me giving birth terrifies me. It's not only that, I don't want to become a mother. A kid is too much responsibility." You explained. Still, you eyes was set on the ground.

"Hey, look at me, hun." He grab both of your cheeks and made you look at him. You slightly gasp, he's smiling. "Are you mad?" You asked him. He shakes his head and says; "Why would I be mad at you for being honest? Don't get me wrong, I want kids. Though, if you change your mind of having kids, we'll have one or two. I know you said you're terrified of giving birth, but we can always adopt. Don't you think?"

You sigh in relief and smile. "Yeah, those kids deserve love as well. Like you said, if I change my mind, let's adopt then." Tom pulls you for a hug and kisses your forehead. "Right back at you, love."
