(B/n) takes a deep and shaky breath as you move closer. It's been so long since a woman has touched him that even these small things you're doing sends waves of pleasure through his body... but you're his guest, and you're way too sweet to him, he can't make himself take that step further. You've been drinking, for god's sake! You're only this close to him because you were scared and have been drinking... that's it. He's your comfort blanket, and he should really stop thinking about you under him... like right now. God he hopes you won't crawl into his bed... of course, only because he doesn't want you to be scared. That's all. Nothing else. The thought of your warm body next to his has nothing to do with it.
With quick but gentle movements, (b/n) gets up. He needs to put some distance between you two before he does something he'll regret... although, if you asked him for it... no, he gotta stop. Mumbling about going to make some food, you watch him as he walks away. Did you do something wrong? Did you overstep his boundaries? God you hope not, he's been so kind to shelter you from the storm, feed you and keep you warm that the thought of making him uncomfortable is almost a painful throb in your chest.
Turning your head to look at Drex, you smile slightly. The dog is watching you, head down on his paws and tail wagging. Why does this whole place feel like a dream? Like home? Well... once you've gotten used to the sounds and shadows, it might feel like home. Right now the storm is making it all scary... ooOooOooh, ghosties! You start giggling to yourself. At least the whiskey worked, even if you had a bit too much.Getting up, you patter your way to the kitchen, peaking in to see what (b/n) is doing. He's got water boiling on the gas stove, and he's cutting something that looks like tomatoes and chillies. Walking over, you talk softly, "can I help?" (B/n) jumps, arms flailing a bit, and you try very hard not to laugh... it wouldn't be nice. "Jesus! Don't sneak up on a man with a knife in his hand, (y/n)! I could have stabbed you!" This giant's worry for you is bordering on cute, and you smile up at him, "so can I? Pleaseeee?" With a sigh and a shake of his head, (b/n) hands you the knife, "sure... but be careful!" Giddy with happiness, you take the knife and continue what he was doing.
It's quiet as you and (b/n) cook together, the only sounds coming from the boiling water, which (b/n) has added pasta to, the sound of your knife cutting through vegetables and into wood, and the sound of the storm howling outside. To you, it's both comfortable and maddening right now. You have so much energy in your body that you have no idea how to get rid of. You wish you could play some music, but power is out, you can't recharge your phone anytime soon, so you have to leave it alone as much as possible, and you have no idea if (b/n) has one of those radios that work on batteries... but it would probably all be static coming through anyway... well... no music then. When you've finished cutting the vegetables, you start looking around in every pantry and cupboard you can find. You're not really looking for anything specific, you're just looking. Maybe you can guess what (b/n)'s favourite snack is? "What are you doing, (y/n)? You're acting like Drex when he wants to go for a walk." (B/n) chuckles as he watches you... did he just compare you to a dog?! Well... okay, Drex is an amazing dog! A good dog! There's no shame being compared to him, it should be seen as a badge of honour! Turning to look at (b/n), you smile innocently. You didn't actually do anything wrong, but I kinda feels like you've been caught anyway, "nothing! Just looking!" (B/n) raises a brow, an amused smirk on his lips, "yeah? Just looking?" You nod quickly, folding your hands behind your back, "juuuust... looking!" "Right... we better get some food and water in you!" (B/n) actually laughs, shaking his head. You love his laugh. Deep, smooth, almost like velvet running over your skin, "I gotta make you laugh more often." You didn't mean to say it out loud, and with a shocked expression on your face, you cover your mouth with your hands... ooops.
(B/n) smirks at you, but he's kind enough not to comment on what you said, he just gets you a glass of water and hands it to you. Taking it from him, you sip it quickly. Maybe you really do need to sober up a bit, otherwise you might end up making a complete fool of yourself... but it is fun.
When the food is ready, (b/n) makes you sit down by the table before placing a bowl of food in front of you, "eat up, you're gonna need the carbs." You snort, saying, "yes, daddy!" jokingly... but the look in (b/n)'s eyes when he looks at you is no joke. Blushing, you apologise and start eating. You and (b/n) eat in silence, and this time you feel no need to interrupt it... definitely not when you can't control what you say out loud and what you don't... definitely better just staying quiet. The food is delicious, and you really wish you could have more... like, maybe the whole pan? Your thoughts must be visible on your face, cause (b/n) is looking at you with a raised brow, "you can go take more if you're still hungry. You don't have to ask for permission." You blush... and then jump up and get more food.
When you go to bed, Drex joins you right away. You're thinking about how you acted tonight, and even though (b/n) laughed, you really hope you didn't offend him somehow. You fall asleep quickly... and you dream of (b/n). His hands are all over you, mouth in secret places. His voice deep and growling in your ear as he moves on top of you. You wake up with a start, sweating and panting and oh so turned on... fuck.
Drex is looking at you. You pet him, "sorry for waking you up, buddy. You can go back to sleep." You get out of bed, quietly making your way downstairs. You need water... and something else... someone! But you can't go there. Standing in the kitchen, you drink your water and look out at the snow. If it doesn't let up soon, you might end up doing something you probably won't regret.
