Chapter 11

"I think we should talk about something."

They both returned home in good spirits, where two worried boys were waiting for them. "Himawari! Where have you been?" They heard the worried voice of a younger blonde who immediately ran up to his sister. "You don't know how worried we were when we got home and you were gone." He continued his mumbling until Kawaki finally came out of the kitchen silencing the younger boy. "Boruto, calm down, she was with Hokage-sama."

It was only after Kawaki's words that the blonde realized that their father was standing next to him. "D-dad? I thought you had business to do. " he said, letting go of the girl and getting to his feet. Naruto looked indulgently at his son and just laughed. "I promised I would be back for dinner, right?" he said in response, getting only a nod. The expression on his face changed rapidly which scared Boruto, while Kawaki had a bad feeling about it. They both looked at Himawari, who was still standing by their father's side, they both could tell by her expression that the blonde had found out. "I think we should talk about something." he said without taking his eyes off his sons.

They were both right that Naruto found out about Hinata and was not thrilled about his children's behavior. The four of them moved to one of the least-used rooms, the blonde's office. The room was not unusual, the walls were cream-colored with paneling halfway up their height, and the floor was also paneled in wood. To the right was a chest of drawers with framed photos, a cork board with a few drawings and photos above it, and a wardrobe next to it. On the left there was a series of shelves with various books, scrolls and documents. There was a desk in the center with a huge window overlooking the village, and an orange sofa facing slightly slanting. There was a large navy blue and red carpet on the floor.

Naruto was sitting at his desk as his children sat down as comfortably as they could in the current situation on the orange sofa. "Well, you probably figured it out." he said looking at his sons. They both sat upright and looked directly at their father, there was no choice but to admit he was right. "Hinata disappears without a word, Himawari stays home alone, and you haven't thought to tell me?" there were reproaches in his voice, he was disappointed with their behavior. Yes, he was a shitty father, but it would be fitting to tell him that something like this is happening. "What would it change if we told you?" Boruto said, looking at his father reproachfully. "You are hardly home at all."

The blonde looked at his son, he felt stupid. "Boruto, I'm just worried." he said, irritating his son. The younger blonde knew that there was something to do with his parents, also the fact that the blonde had three sons with another, with his master! His behavior when he was with them differed here, and that hurt him. It was as if the blonde did not love them, even though they were all his children.

"What would you do? Lock us in some house, Kami knows where, like the other three? " he laughed. He was jealous, that's understandable. Kawaki and Himawari looked at their brother in a questioning way, but Naruto couldn't believe that the younger blonde was dragging his sons into it. Their situation was very different! "Boruto, they have nothing to do with this case." he said, glaring at his son, the younger one just snorted. "Dad, what is Boruto-nii talking about?" Himawari said, looking questioningly at her father. She didn't think her father and brother had some secret that seemed to annoy her brother.

"Right 'Dad', why don't you tell them?" Boruto asked mockingly. The blonde looked at his son incredulously, he really intended to solve it that way, avoiding the actual problem. "Boruto, we're not talking about that right now." he tried to stay calm, even though his blood was boiling with anger inside him. "Why? Have no right to know you have children with someone else? Or maybe it's because- "the blonde could not stand it and hit the desk with his hand, silencing the younger one. Kawaki and Himawari were surprised by the younger blonde's words, although they were more surprised by their father's reaction, and Boruto was scared of it. "You have no right to drag them into this." The blonde said softly, keeping his eyes fixed on the table top. "We're talking about a serious problem right now, so be serious for once and don't act like a spoiled brat!" The man raised his voice unconsciously, which scared his children.

It hurt, it hurt the fact that his father thought about him as a spoiled brat or was he really acting like that? There was silence, no one spoke, none of the three children even shyly spoke. The man took a deep breath. "Boruto," the older blonde said, his son looking at him uncertainly. "I understand that you can be jealous and... it can hurt that your mother and I do not fully love each other." the blonde looked at his son's face blessedly eagerly, he did not want to hurt the younger blonde. "You and mum don't love each other?" Himawari said, she was shocked and hurt, was her family happiness just a passing fancy? Kawaki, on the other hand, was silent, he did not know how to behave. "It's not like that, Hima-chan. Love is a fleeting thing, some will live their entire lives happy, others will just burn out. " he knew it from experience and knew that he and Hinata would not be able to stay together anymore. She loved him, but she had had enough, he was aloof about it and was afraid of getting hurt again.

"Himawari, the next time your mother leaves you alone, you have to come to my office, you understand?" he said looking at his daughter, she just nodded. "Kawaki and Boruto, when you notice Hinata leaving, make sure Himawari gets to me." they both just nodded. "If you notice any strange or suspicious behavior, I want you to tell me, I am your father after all. Even if I'm a shit in it. " he said laughing at the end. "Regarding what Boruto said." he paused, he wasn't entirely sure if he should tell them this, Himawari was still young and he didn't know how she would react. He took a deep breath and looked at the children with a serious expression. "It may sound ridiculous and you may not believe me, but you have three brothers."
