"So Caroline's big idea to help get past my memory loss is bringing me to a costume ball?"Melanie asked Stefan. They're sitting on the bed in the room that Stefan gave her when he brought her back home yesterday evening. It's strange it's like I know the person sitting infront of him but at the same time I don't. She wondered, something inside her was telling her that she could trust him and Caroline but she didn't know why and even if she tried to hide it as best as she could it scared her sometimes.
"Yeah something like that" Stefan tells her and smiles at the girl infront of him.
"What is it exactly?" Melanie asked.
"Well the costume ball is supposed to be about famous people from history" Stefan answered as best as he could.
"Do you think I could get some breakfast?" She asked and Stefan nodded and lead her down the stairs. On the way the down she saw herself sitting on the couch in the living room. The girl had a burgundy toga around her body that had various golden symbols embroidered into. When Amalthea spotted Stefan he immediately reminded her of Silas and she ran forward and jumped into his arms.
"Dad" She said and started crying of joy when she thought she saw her father. Stefan being the perfect gentleman he hugged her back but gave a questioning look to all the others in the room.
"Dad, how are you here?Where is here? What about Qetsiyah? I saw mom earlier but she looked different, she had these weird clothes on and I'm so confused" Amalthea kept on rambling and saying things to Stefan and everyone was shocked.
"Hey, Hey, little one. I'm sorry I'm not Silas"Stefan said trying to break it down to her gently.
"What? I don't understand. One moment I'm with Grace in the cottage and the next I'm waking up in the forest infront of a mansion" Amalthea said and both Stefan and Caroline had sympathy for the girl.
"Caroline can you make sure Mel eats while I try to explain everything to-" He said and turned to towards the girl.
"Amalthea" She answered and Stefan lead her outside into the garden.
"Could anyone please tell me why do all the girls think Stefan's their dad?"Damon asked in his usual tone and Caroline sent him a glare before she hurried away with Melanie into the kitchen.
