PARTY - SAME
Holley moves along by herself nervously. DING! Her watch monitor springs to life. Holley speaks into her radio, "The American has activated his tracking beacon."
Finn replies back to her, "Roger that. Move in."
BATHROOM - SAME
Rod Redline was waiting at a sink and feels a presence behind him. Grem and Acer have entered and hesitated briefly when they see Rod Redline. Rod Redline carefully slides a gun out of his pocket. He is suddenly charged by the two men. Rod spins around and gets a shot off but is slammed head first. A tight, close-quarter fight begins. Still trapped in the stall, Mater is now being scrubbed as if in a car wash and is helpless.
Outside the stall, Rod is being pulverized. Just when he scrambles away from one man, the other one takes over. In the stall, Mater is mercifully released, but when he backs out, Rod Redline is thrown into the stall door, crunching it and sending Mater back into the clutches of the insane toilet.
PARTY - SAME
Holley isolates the tracking beacon's location in the party and groans, "Oh, you've got to be joking."
"What's the problem, Shiftwell?"
"He's in the loo." Holley answers Finn over the radio.
"So go in!" Finn urges.
"I can't just go into the men's loo." Holley groans.
"Time is of the essence, Shiftwell."
BATHROOM - OUTSIDE THE STALL
Rod Redline is in bad shape. He backs away and betrays a look of concern. He's in trouble here.
Acer was ready to finish him off. Just as he was about to run at him, Mater's stall door kicks open, knocking Acer out. Mater jumps out, face-to-face Grem, "Whatever you do, I would not go in there." Mater gasps. The door swings shut, revealing a pulverized Acer.
"A Gremlin and Pacer owners!" Mater grins, taking notice of the men's gremlin and pacer outfits. Rod Redline, now hidden behind Mater, senses an opportunity here and quickly produces a small device.
Unaware of Rod behind him, Mater continued talking to Grem and Acer, "No offense to your makes and models, but you guys break down harder than my cousin Betsy after she got left at the-"
Rod Redline surreptitiously attaches the device under Mater's vest carefully, watching it attach to his clothes.
"--- altar!" Mater spins around and sees Rod Redline for the first time. "Are you okay?" He asks, noticing the bruises and bloody lip forming on the agent, "I'm fine." Rod answered.
Grem snarled, "Hey. Tow truck owner," Mater turns back to Grem and Acer, "We'd like to get to our private business here if you don't mind." Grem finished.
Mater glanced between the three men, "Oh, yeah. Don't let me get in the way of your 'private business.' Oh! A little advice: When you hear her giggle and see that waterfall, you best press that green button." Mater gestures to the stall door.
"Thank you." Grem huffed.
"It's to adjust the temperature."
Acer felt irritated at Mater, "Got it."
"Remember, it's in Celsius, not Fahrenheit."
"Get outta here!" Grem and Acer yelled at once. Mater shrugged his shoulders and walked out, "Alright then." Mater exits the bathroom, leaving Rod Redline to a now even angrier Grem and Acer.
BATHROOM - MOMENTS LATER
Holley arrives at the men's door. She takes a breath and is about to enter when Mater exits, "Excuse me, ma'am." He passes her, expelling some gas in the process. Holley's watch tracking confirms that the device is on him. Mater grunts to himself, "Dadgum pistachio ice cream." Referring to the wasabi.
"This cannot be him." Holley watches Mater walking away in disbelief. Finn contacts on the radio, "Is he American?"
Mater swings his tow cable on his belt, "Look out, ladies. Mater's fittin' to get funky!"
"Extremely." Holley shook her head, still watching Mater walk down the hall.
"Then it's him," Finn answered. It's settled. Holley takes one more nervous breath, quickly closes the distance between her and Mater, and cuts him off. Mater stops and confusingly gazes at her, "Hello." Holley spoke.
Mater smiled, not wanting to be rude, "Well, hello."
"A Volkswagen Karmann Ghia has no radiator." She nervously spoke, hoping that Mater was indeed the agent they were looking for.
"Well, of course, it doesn't. That's 'cause it's air-cooled!" Mater answered, tilting his head slightly.
The agent sighs in relief, "Perfect. I'm from the Tokyo Station of the-"
"Course, Karmann Ghia's weren't the only ones. Besides the Beetles, you had your Type-3 Squarebacks, with the pancake motors..." Mater interrupted, naming off the other cars with their defects.
"Yeah. Okay, I get it---" Holley tried to get Mater's attention, but he continued on, "... And before both of them, there's the Type-2 buses - my buddy Fillmore has one of them."
"Listen!" Holley raises her hand up, silencing Mater, "We should find somewhere more private." She quickly mentioned. Mater stared at her with wide eyes, "Uh, gee. Don't you think that's a little, uh-"
With nervous energy, Holley glanced over her shoulder, "You're right. Impossible to know which areas here are compromised. So, when can I see you again?" She asked with a smile. Unsure of what was going on, Mater nervously answered, "Well, let's see. Tomorrow I'll be out there at the races."
"Got it. We'll rendezvous then." Holley quickly walked off, leaving a very confused Mater in the hallway.
"Rendezvous? What is that?" Mater pondered. Stepping out of the hallway, the tow truck owner made his way to his friends in deep thought.
