A/N I'm so sorry for not updating in ages, but all my teacher's decided to set us tons of homework, and I was trying to get as up to date as possible before updating again, so, here it is! I'm so sorry it's such a shit chapter, but I have such terrible writers block atm, so I'm really sorry! :(

Before I forget! Thank you all so so so much for over 1,000 reads, it's just, omg, I never expected it in a thousand years!

Okay, I'm done now :)

NIALL'S POV

"So how long do we have till we have to leave?" Liam asked glumly, passing round the mugs of tea and coffee to everyone as we stood around the kitchen island. Danielle and Perrie were wearing dresses in Rachel's favourite shade of blue, while the boys and I were wearing our best suits with blue ties to match the girls.

"About 30 minutes" Jay looked down at her wrist watch before taking a sip of her coffee, pulling a face at the bitterness of the coffee.

"Are you 100% sure Lou isn't coming?" Zayn questioned, wrapping his arm around Perrie's waist as she began crying into his shoulder again

"Positive" our heads snapped round to see Harry exiting the room of the depressed Doncaster boy, walking round to sit between Lottie and Jay, taking the final cup off of the counter before taking a gulp of his brew "He's dead set on not coming, I even tried the 'what would Rachel think?' card, but he didn't buy it. I don't know what to do anymore" Harry shrugged, resting his head on Jay's shoulder "I hate seeing him like this..."

"We all do, Harry" Liam sighed, drinking the last part of his coffee before setting it behind Danielle's back on the island "I guess if Louis isn't coming, we better get going"

"I'll go see if Emily's ready" I handed my mug over to Lottie before heading towards mine and Emily's room. Ever since Rachel past away, Emily hasn't been herself. Not even when we found out we were going to have a baby. She hasn't been eating or drinking normally, she hasn't slept in days; none of us have. Every night, Emily cried into my shoulder as another memory of her and Rachel filtered her mind.

I'd suggested moving away, leaving everything behind, but that wouldn't help either of us. Emily had to try and move on without her childhood best friend, and the only way she could do that would be to do it here.

I wrapped my knuckles a couple times against the cold wood of our bedroom door, letting Emily know I was about to come in.

No answer.

I sighed before pushing the door open lightly, slipping my head through the gap, trying to spot my pregnant girlfriend. My eyes finally landed on Emily, sat in front of the mirror on our dressing table, directly opposite our bed in front of our window, brushing her long brown hair down her baby blue, knee length dress.

"Honey? It's time to go.."

"No..." she croaked out, fresh tears cascading down her pale cheeks "Not yet" I lightly shut the door back in it's shutter, allowing a small click to erupt from the hinge, before tiptoeing over to the bed to sit down

"Sweetie, you know we have to go-"

"No, Niall!" she slammed the hair brush down on the dresser, lifting up a screwed up ball of what looked like a photograph "No we don't! We can all just stay here, not go and say goodbye to my best friend because as long as we're not going, she's still here!" her voice cracked at the end, sobs erupting from her dry throat, head now in her hands

"You know that's not true, Em" I got up, walking over to her back to rest my hands on her shoulders

"Why not, Ni? I just want my best friend back..." Emily shook uncontrollably beneath me, sadness taking over her body completely. I had never experienced her cry this hard before, and all I wanted to do was stop it.
