A/N I'm sorry if this is really bad, but  I seriously hope it's not because I've been writing for hours trying to make this sound good, so I hope you enjoy it!

KNOCK KNOCK

"I'll get it..." Perrie sighed, placing her china mug on top of the black marble counter top before heading towards the boys' mahogany front door. She pressed her dull, grieving eyes against the peep hole, letting out a low sigh before throwing it open, engulfing the guest in a bone crushing hug.

"Hey Mr Smith..." she mumbled into his sharpest suit as he lightly rested his hands on her back, kissing the top of her hair like a he used to with Rachel.

"Hello Perrie, sorry I'm late" he whispered, silent sobs coming out of his dry throat

"Don't worry, you're not, Michael" Perrie loosened her grip from around his neck, re-tightening his baby blue tie that had come loose from the sudden force of Perrie's hug. "Come on in..."

Michael nodded, swiftly brushing past Perrie to walk into the gloomy flat. White Lily of the Valley flowers lined the corridor of the apartment; Rachel's favourite flowers. Michael ran his hand over the bright petals, taking in a sniff of the fresh flowers' aroma.

He sighed, letting the flower fall from his cold hands, before walking through to meet the others, all watching the door in anticipation of who was here.

"Morning, Michael" Liam said, leaning over to shake his hand, as did all the others

"Morning everyone" he sighed, sniffling back a tear "Right, are we ready to get this day over and done with?"

"Yeah, we're just waiting to see if Niall can convince Emily to join us" Zayn sighed, leaning against the counter, rubbing his eyes

"Do you think Emily will come?" Danielle questioned the group of friends and family of Rachel Smith stood before her

"Why don't you ask her yourself?" Everyone's head snapped out at the sound of her voice, watching as Niall and Emily walked hand in hand out into the kitchen, where Emily immediately pulled Michael into a hug.

"I'm so glad you decided to come" Michael whispered into her ear as they clinged onto each other tightly, a silent conversation being spoken through their embrace.

Jay stole a glance in the direction of Louis' room, which not been opened from the outside, nor from the inside. "Too bad not all of us are coming..."

"It's okay mum" Lottie pulled her mum into a side hug, kissing her cheek "At least we tried..."

"Come on then" Jay picked up the twins, Lottie and Fizzy following suit out to the car. Danielle took Liam's hand, as did Perrie and Zayn, walking out to the van. Niall walked out alongside Michael, explaining what was going to happen today; leaving behind just Emily and Harry.

Harry stopped in the doorway, sighing heavily as he turned back to the silent flat.

"I'm sorry he's not coming too, Emily, I know that was all you wanted-"

"Well it's a good thing I'm coming then, isn't it?" Both Harry and Emily spun around to see Louis stood at the other end of the hallway, in his suit and tie, smart shoes poking out the bottom.

"But, I thought-"

"You were right, Haz. We all need to move on" he smiled solemnly, walking towards the pair, before embracing Emily in a hug "I'm sorry I was being such an idiot, Em"

"It's okay Louis" she pulled away, holding him at arms length with a small smile playing at the corners of her lips "You're here now, and that's good enough for me"
