Shattering. That seemed to be the only word Libitina could use to describe the feeling of grief that clawed at the walls around her heart, as her eyes came to rest on the face of her dead boyfriend.

The feeling digging it's claws into the stone and ripping it down crumble by crumble until their claws are bloodied and nothing but dust surrounded the still wounded organ.

"Ben..." her voice was breathless, all of it being stolen from her lungs, as if she had been hit by a car and left to lay dead in the road as the car drove off.

Shock was written across all siblings faces.

The umbrella academy for seeing Ben, standing alive and well, like he hasn't been dead for fifteen years.

The sparrows looked in awe at Libitina, She had passed away weeks ago, at least to them she did.

"What kind of trickery is this?" Venom laced words shot out of Ben's mouth, not believing that she was truly standing in front of him.

"How are you here?" Her voice was shaking, her eyes glassed over with tears. Her hand, on reflex, coming to rest on her stomach. Something Ben had taught her when they were younger after a bad punishment from their father.

"You died..." a broken whisper escaped her throat.

"Libitina..." Ben's hand hesitantly came to grasp her hand, that was resting upon her stomach to keep her grounded, so she wouldn't break down in sobs.

The lights flickered as the two half souls reconnected, making one. Emotions flooding through every vein in their bodies at being rejoined with their lost halves.

"Wait, how come Ben remembers Libi but not us?" Came the whine filled voice of Klaus, causing everyone to snap back to reality to the situation.

Libitina quickly backed away as she realized the rest of the Sparrows where now standing behind Ben, eyes still burning into her with an underlaying tone of grief.

Hurt flashed across Ben's face as Libitina pulled away, like his touch had burned a mark into her skin. This is not her Ben, but it didn't make seeing him any easier.

"The real question is who are you, and why is our sister with you?" Azure eyes filtered over to the snarky voice, coming to rest upon a girl with black hair.

Their sister? So, Libitina was alive in this timeline?

"I'm sorry, your sister?" the voice could be tracked back to Allison, her arms crossed over her chest with her chin held high, having always been the most confident of the siblings.

"Mom?" A meek voice came from a doorway. Standing in the little hallways coming from the kitchen stood a young girl, not possibly older than four.

blue eyes stared back into blue, like two oceans crashing against each other in a battle that no mortal would begin to comprehend.

The world had never been more silent for Libitina, her ears ringing violently like tornado sirens had been implanted in her mind to go off at any second.

The air had been trapped in Libitina's windpipe, the tears from moments ago having dried only to be flushed out by a fresh wave coming to take over.

"I.." she started, the young girl making her way over to try and comfort the woman who looked like, and technically was, her mother.

Libitina stumbled back, Her breathing picking up as she glanced rapidly between the faces of The Sparrows, The Umbrellas, and the young girl.

"I can't do this." She spoke to herself, pushing between her siblings to run out of the academy. She could hear them yelling after her, footfalls chasing after her panicked figure.

She came to stand on the side walk, the world she thought she knew began to spiral, taking her thoughts down with her as she slowly lowered herself to the ground.

Her chest was stuttering as she struggled to keep her sobs at bay. Her form was shaking, like an animal left out to play in the snow.

Two arms wrapped around her barely held together figure before she broke, an agony filled sob ripped its way from her throat as she fell into the other persons chest.

Her head bowing to rest on his shoulder as hot tears raced down her face, She had finally started to piece herself back together, and now the universe has thrown her through another loop. She was officially broken.
