I wake up in a daze. My hair was covered in sand. "Ugh. Gross," I look around. "Sanity! Elisa!" I look around, standing up. Arthur comes into my view. "Dad!" He sees me and falls to his knees. "Dad!" I run to him, helping him up. "I can't find the others... or Sanity," He states in a raspy voice. "I can find Sanity," "I've been calling for hours, Kid," He pants. I let him rest on the ground as I walk further. I whistle the beginning of a tune.
Sanity walks around a bit dazed. He hears yelling, but its tuned out of Sanity's mind. He rubs sand out of his hair and winces. He looks at his hand. Dried blood from his scalp. "How'd I get that?" He mutters to himself. As he continues walking aimlessly, he hears something that brings him out of his daze. A whistle. "Elisa," He mutters. He whistles, finishing the tune. He continued to hear the whistle, running towards the sound as he responded back. He spots Elisa and Arthur.
"Sanity!" Sanity runs towards us. "Oh, thank goodness. You're okay," Arthur states. I hug the black haired male, his body stiffens. "I know, I know. But–" "Did he touch you?" Sanity states firmly. "Who?" Arthur inquires. "Micah? I swear if he–" "He didn't. I kicked him in the balls," Arthur chuckles. "That's my girl," "Look. There's smoke," We both look up. "That must be Dutch," We help Arthur to the smoke.
On a small hill, Dutch, Bill and Javier put together a campfire. "Arthur! Sanity!" Dutch walks over to us. "Come, come!" Dutch lets Arthur and Sanity have a seat. Dutch sits next to Sanity as the others settle around. I walk towards the ocean, staring. "Kid, come sit," I tune out Arthur as I stare into the deep blue water. I had this terrible feeling. Something was coming, and it was coming fast. "Where are we?" Arthur asks Dutch. "Guarma. Island east of Cuba," I state. Dutch looks at me. "Exactly," "So, what's next?" Sanity asks. "We regroup here for a few weeks, then find passage to get everyone else here," I turn around as Soldiers start coming out of the shrubs. "That's not a good idea," I state. "Why's that?" The sound of guns cocking makes the rest jump. Soldiers surround us. Everyone puts their hands up, surrendering.
"What now?" Bill asked. "'What now?' What do you mean what now?" Micah asked. "I mean, we are heading back to Lemoyne, again, and we're all wanted men," Bill states frustrated. Sanity and I look at each other before back at the prize idiot. "We slip ashore, one by one... find out what's what," "Why don't we cut off now and head back to Blackwater?" Micah asks Dutch. "No," Dutch says firmly. "Why not?" Micah inquires. "The last thing they'll be thinking is for us to turn up," "We've been on the run for awhile now. It feels like our luck has turned. And it ain't turning back. We had a good run of it, I guess," Arthur states. "We ain't even played our hand yet. We just need to put some more money in our pockets, make our escape. Broke, alone, they're gunna pick us off one by one. And you know it," "Maybe," "Not. Maybe. We need to split up, keep a low profile, try to track down the rest. But... carefully. See if they sent in any mail. Arthur, Sanity, you two check Shady Belle. We'll find each other eventually. We always do," "And then what?" Javier asks. "And then we gather the family, we get some money, and get the hell out of there. That's the plan," Dutch states. "We all are acting crazy... and that's not what I thought what we were gunna be doing," Javier exclaims. "We have been in a bad way. Listen... I will kill for my family. Any of you wanna judge me for that, that's fine. But that is who i am. Anyone disagree?" Dutch asks. No one said anything. Dutch walks away. Sanity gets up and follows Dutch.
Dutch rests his hands on the rail, looking out into the ocean. Sanity stands next to him. "You've been getting onto me and Elisa lately. I'm sorry, son. We don't always get along but... we do care for you," Sanity stares at him. "I will try to get along with her the best I can. And I will keep Micah away from the both of you," Sanity nods as the two of them stare out into the water in silence.
Sanity and Arthur row away on a boat towards the shores of Van Horn.Once they get on land, I row myself to the same shore. I find a black and white Tenessee Walker and hop on it, leaving the small town. I run through the east coast, heading towards Shady Belle. Once I get to the crossroads leading to Shady Belle, I see a familiar Missouri Foxtrotter. I stop when I notice him. "Zephyr?" Zephyr looks up and begins rearing. He starts running in a direction, making sure i followed. He leads me to Bolger Glade. I get off once he goes behind some broken wagons. I rush to him to find Rellie bleeding out. "Rellie! Oh my shit," I mutter as I put some pressure on her wound. "H-hey... Dynamite," I sniffle as tears come to my eyes. "What happened?" I whisper. "P-Pinkertons..." Her breathing becomes labored. "They f-found Kit... V-venom... I-I tried... to help b-but..." I stare at her. "I-I don't have my supplies... i..." Rellies gently rests her hand on mine. "Tell A-Arthur and B-baby Blue... I... l-love them... both..." I close my eyes, tears running down my cheeks. "I l-love you, D-Dynamite. D-don't let D-dutch lose h-himself, a-alr-right?" I open my eyes and nod. "I... I will try..." I whisper. She faintly smiles before her entire body goes limp. I wipe my tears as I stare up at Zephyr. He whines softly. I hear a bird calling out. We both look up to find a beautiful white Eagle landing on a nearby tree. It let out a screech before soaring into the sky, but low enough for me to see. "Zeph, watch over Aurelia," I tell him before getting on my horse and following the Eagle.
