It was a lovely day, the pidgey's chirping little pokemon playing and fighting. A boy of 14 was staring down on the little peaceful town we all know as Pallet. The name of this boy is Ash Ketchum, a young promising trainer with the dream to be a Pokemon Master. On top of his shoulder is a yellow furball who also happens to be Ash's partner and best friend. "Hey bud, look! Pallet town is right there wanna race?" But pikachu didn't answer, he was actually worried about Ash after all his best friend just went a little sown in the results than any other leagues but he snapped out but that wasn't the root of pikachu's worry.

He didn't know why, but most of Ash's Unova Pokémon except Charizard and Snivy. Well, those were the only pokemon with him since he thought that being with the rest of the pokemon would ease them out. Well Ash being Ash thought it was because of their low performance, but pikachu didn't quite believe it. "Hey buddy, are you ok? You're zoning out." Pikachu snapped from his thoughts and responded with an enthusiastic "Pi Pika Pichu, " but something told him something bad was going to happen.

Ash and pikachu started racing down the mountain, and of course, being the cunning electric mouse, he used his quick attack to reach faster."Hey, that's not fair, pikachu!" Ash pouted pikachu. He just laughed at his trainer. "Well then, shall we go inside?" "Pika" getting a nod from pikachu. After all, the mouse loved his trainer's mother, who was just as kind as him. When he was about to enter he heard some voices which he quickly realized were his friends and another which were quite familiar and many of them were angry. So Ash just chose to eavesdrop at them, and what he heard had completely changed his life.

In his living room, there were many people who had touched and turned his life and the opposite as well. From his bellowed mother to his latest friend and rival from Unova excluding Gary. He stood there unknown to anyone hearing the conversation between his friends or should we say former friends. His heart ached like it was stabbed with multiple little needles. He just stood there shocked, tears falling down his eyes as he watched the ongoing conversation.

"It's pointless for him to chase after a stupid dream. He needs to grow up, maybe change his dream like his old friend did." Iris said Smugly. "Who are you to decide my son's future." A calm but stern voice rang, which made several of the others have a chill, It was surprisingly Delia, Ash's mother. No one has ever seen her acting cold ever, not even Ash, but this time was different. After the death of his father, Ash was the only one who was left for her as a true family. Even though she wanted him to stay with her, she knew not to pressure him and to let him chase his dream with her full support.

Ash was a splitting image of his father. She was not gonna let him give up his dream just because a few wannabe friends came and said to give up. "Don't you want him to live with you, Mrs Ketchum? You should side with us." May said after snapping out of her shocked state seeing the most kindest woman she met being so cold. "Yeah, Mrs Ketchum, he's just being a wannabe. His progress is also downgrading, " said a green headed boy, also known as Cilan.

Ash, on the other hand, was happy, hopeful, and angry. He was happy because his Mom stood up for him in an entirely new way he ever saw, hopeful to see if any others believed him and angry at his friend insult 'how dare he after all I have done they....' He was cut out of thought when someone spoke on his behalf. He was the last one Ash expected to speak for him.

"You guys are so low that even pathetic doesn't begin to describe you. There were two reasons I came today one was to check out his emotional status after his loss, and the other was to test my own strength against him. He is one of the trainers I respect and the one responsible for my change." It was none other than Paul who knew that cold bastard respected him that much. Several outbursts came from the traitors, mainly insults thrown at ash and how weak his Pokémon were, but some stood by his side, namely Dawn, and paul argued back, and Max was not present.
