Ash introduced himself as Aaron, to keep his real identity a secret. Of cource Tierno was arrogant enough to Challenge and insult Ash's pokemon. This resulted in the humiliating defeat of Tierno and him having a new found respect for Tierno.

The gang reached the pokemon centre. Ash of cource hurried and went towards the counter. "Nurse Joy! Please register me for the Kalos league!" Ash said giving her the Nanodex. "Alright. Please wait a minute." She took the Nanodex and then put it in the register. But her eyes almost bulged when she saw the name, 'Ash Ketchum' and Ash who saw this covered her mouth and said "please keep this a secret. I don't want anyone to find out just yet." Nurse Joy then nodded and smiled, "Alright but you should put you Dex on the League register in all Gym's you competed after earning the badge." She said.

The others arrived to towards the register. "We want to Register too!" Trevor said showing his pokedex. Tierno did the same. Tierno was about to give his pokemon to nurse Joy for checking but was Interrupted by Ash. "Hey, I could heal your pokemon." He then took the Pokeballs from the confused Tierno and brought em out. Then he put his hand on both of them and then they glowed. A while later the pokemon were almost fit, they just looked hungry though. "Just a little food and you'll be good as new." Ash said with a close eyed smile. The pokemon just thanked him. "Why am I not surprised? Would you tell me now please?" Shauna asked with puppy eyes. "Not gonna happen." Ash said showing his tongue. "Now I need yo go to Lumiose city Gym! Time to get my first badge!" Ash said as he began to walk out. "Wait.. Do you even know where the Gym is?" Serena asked. Ash just raised an eye brow and gave her a 'you serious?' Look. Serena noticed it and said "Sorry I thou-" she was interupted "I have no clue!" Came the smirking reply, and everyone else fell down anime style. "Could you wait a sec. We were also going to the Lumiose city Gym. The Gym leader is one of our friends." Shauna said which Ash agreed to, totally forgetting the part that he would be revealed at the end of the battle.

Tierno and Trevor, came back after their registration, they too decided to go to the Lumiose Gym. They didn't know the Leader that well as Shauna and Serena. The girls had travelled to Master class together and Serena was travelling with the Leader's lil sister Bonnie who was hell bend on finding a Boyfriend for Serena and teasing Shauna about Trevor. "So where is the Lumiose Gym? I didn't see it in the Map." Ash said. "Well the Lumiose Gym is in the biggest tower in the world, and one of Kalos's Pride The Prism Tower!" Serena replied in a ta-da voice, which earned chuckle from everyone. And our dense Boy thought it cute. Finally!.

They reached the Prism tower and Ash being Ash just rushed in. "Aaron wait!!!" Both the girls shouted but to no avail. He had already went ahead inside and they heard a lot of explosions from inside. They remembered what the Gym Leader said 'layed some electrocuting devices for keeping rushy, boring and stick up their a** trainers with PLA approval' It was in the article about Lumiose Gym and they figured that Aaron haven't read it considered he didn't even know where prism tower was.

A few minutes before that inside the Prism tower, Ash ran inside and went to the door and knocked it. "Open up! I'm here for a Gym battle." "Pika pika!" ('I'm pumped!'). A metallic voice was heard "Welcome to the Lumiose Gym. How many badges do you have?" "None, I've just reached Kalos a moment ago." Ash said excitedly. "What! You can't challenge this gym until you have atleast 4 badges. I suggest you comeback after winning four badges!" As it said that two hands with some sort of antenna came out. "If you don't go now you will get electrocuted by electricity." It said calmly. "Is that so? then lets see who packs more volts! Go Pikachu!" Ash said.

It was completely over the moment they started. Pikachu's body was covered in electricity as his speed and attack power increased exponentially. It was volt tackle. Pikachu destroyed the electric charging antennas.
