five.

It was the day after my encounters with Billy and Stu. Right now, I was on my way to lunch to meet with Kevin and Rue. So far, I hadn't seen Stu or Randy but as for Billy, He wouldn't leave me alone. He was desperate to talk to me.

As I made my way down the halls and on my way to lunch. The halls were crowded and people were moving slowly as they tried to crowd into the cafeteria. It was pretty frustrating.

"Hey, Sol!" I noticed a voice behind me.

I looked back to see Stu pushing through the crowd. The sight of him made me nauseous and I rolled my eyes; I wasn't too thrilled to see him.

"Soleil!" He called.

I continued to ignore him and began to push my way through the crowd. Personally, I'd rather see Billy instead of him, but I guess that's not how it was supposed to be. Stu caught up to me by the cafeteria doors.

"Were you ignoring me?" He asked.

I nodded. "Duh. What do you want?"

"I just wanted to apologize for what I said yesterday and tell you you're pretty." He nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

I raised my brow. "Is that all?"

Stu nodded, before looking down, mimicking the face of a sad puppy. I didn't know what to sayor how to feel, so I dismissed him and went to find Rue and Kevin.

While walking through the cafeteria, I began to think about that encounter versus when I had first met Stu. Even though our first meeting was brief, I could still spot the difference in his character, he wasn't as nice and "tell it like it is" as he was a month ago, he was more arrogant and less nice. It might have been the breakup with Casey but it still felt off.

"Sol!" Kevin called.

He and Ruby were outside by a big oak tree, close to the fountain where Billy, Tatum, and the rest of their group were. The moment Kevin called my name, Billy looked in my direction and began to stare at me until I reached my friends. It was weird.

"Hey girl." Rue greeted.

"Wassup?" Kevin dapped me up.

I shook my head and put my bag down. "Nothing."

"That didn't seem like nothing..." Rue nudged my shoulder. "How come you don't talk to them that much?"

Oh brother... I rolled my eyes. I should've known better, I knew they'd ask me this sooner or later.

"Yeah, I noticed that too. You only talk to Tatum and Billy's always tryna be around you." Kevin commented.

"Oh, it's nothing, we just don't talk." I lied, not wanting to delve into the situation. There were too many people around and I didn't want any drama, it was bad enough that Sidney was already as cold as ice towards me.

We sat on the ground and I leaned against the tree, I knew they weren't going to stop asking me, I just wanted to enjoy a moment of peace.

"Awe, come on, girl, I know something must've happened. I heard Billy gave you your tour." Rue exclaimed.

"Can you not be so loud, damn..." I grumbled.

The smile on her face fell and she became more serious. "What happened, Soleil?"

"There's rumors of Billy hooking up with this girl during the summer." Kevin spoke up. "He was messing with my friend, Chrissy, around that time."

My stomach sank. I knew Billy was a piece of shit but to know I wasn't the only one made me feel kind of upset. "He was nice during the tour and I thought he was cute, we flirted with each other and he asked to take me out." I admit. "It was Stu running into us and exposing him for being in a relationship that made me cut him off."
