Chapter 2: I'm in love with Eddie ''The Freak'' Munson

I walk home with my stepbrother Dustin after stepping off the bus. 

'' You've been quiet the whole bus ride, Y/N. Is something wrong? '' He asked.

'' Nothing. Just nervous about the pep rally. It is in two days, so- ''

'' Nope. It's something else. You haven't even asked me about my day. This is very out of the ordinary for you. '' 

'' Well, nothing happened. '' I said very aggressively.

After I yelled, we stopped walking and silence droned on for about a minute or two. Dustin suddenly pointed both of his index fingers at me. 

'' You like someone. '' He said.

'' No, I don't. '' 

'' Yes, you do. You were like this when you admitted to me that you liked (Insert Abusive Ex's Name). ''

'' Don't mention them. ''

'' Who is it? '' He asked jokingly.

'' No one. It's just someone from band, you wouldn't know him. '' I said.

'' It's a guy? Is it Atticus Rivas? '' 

'' No.'' 

'' Beck Rivers? ''

'' No one from woodwinds. ''

'' Edward Franco? ''

'' Ew, no. ''

'' Elias Lee? '' 

'' His name does start with an E., from what I remember. ''

'' From what you remember? ''

'' I don't know. My mind went blank when Mr. Martinez introduced him. All I remember is seeing the letter ''E'' on one of the collars of his jean jacket. ''

'' Eddie Munson? You like Eddie Munson? '' 

I nodded silently.

'' Eddie '' The Freak'' Munson? President of Hellfire Club? '' 

I nodded silently.

'' You like Eddie '' The Freak'' Munson! Eddie! Eddie and Y/N sitting on a tree, K- I- S- S-'' I slap both of his hands just as he's about to make them kiss.

'' Stop it!'' I say. 

'' I'm gonna tell him. I have to. ''

'' No. Please keep his between us, alright, Cross your heart. ''

Once we reached the house, he looked over at me and crossed his heart. 

'' By the way, are you free this Friday night? '' He asked.

'' Yeah, why?'' 

'' Just asking.'' 

I shrugged my shoulders and went inside with Dustin once he unlocked the front door.
