I try not to sleep as Mr. Richards drones on and on about boring Punnett squares. Suddenly, I feel my phone vibrate.
D= Dustin, E= Eddie
D: Hey, Meet me in building C after class. It's important.
E: Got it.
After class, I walk to building C to see Dustin sitting on a bench.
'' Hey. What's up? ''
'' Hey, so I spoke with Y/N. They like you too! ''
'' Really? Oh, thank the dungeon gods. '' I said, breathing a sigh of relief afterward.
'' I propose for you two to go out this Friday night. Take them out to a movie or something. ''
'' Those are my self- declared Eddie days. I want to make that day big for them. Taking them out to a movie is too stereotypical. ''
'' How about a picnic? Y/N loves food! '' Asked Dustin.
'' That's not a bad idea. I could do it at Lakeshore Park. ''
'' Great! I'll go tell Y/N! ''
I pull Dustin's collar from his jean jacket.
'' Hey, does Y/N do...''
I start to mimic the gesture of holding a joint.
'' Oh yeah! All the time. Their room always smells. ''
'' Yes! '' I yelled.
I jumped up and down from excitement.
'' Oh. Leave the asking out to me. '' I said.
'' Yes, Sir. ''
