3rd Person's POV

The next two weeks were silent. Phil spent his time taking care of Punz, Tommy, and Wilbur's wounds. In his spare time, he spent time with Purpled and Techno to make sure they were okay.

Purpled and Punz stayed in the guest room. Nobody came out of their rooms unless it was to eat or go to the bathroom.

Phil continued to go to work, but he refused to make the kids do anything in his last two classes. He told them to do whatever, because he didn't care.

He signed up to help gifted children learn to control themselves, not to send them to their deaths.

Everyone in his house didn't go to school. They weren't stable enough. Punz broke his arm and had amnesia. Wilbur was burned and it hurt for him to move, especially his ankle that he sprained, and Tommy had a severe concussion and constant migraines.

Not to mention, they were all traumatized. They all almost died and they probably won't light or even look at a candle for the rest of their lives.

Phil wasn't allowed near any of Puffy's kids or her. Apparently Niki is staying by George constantly trying to use her powers on him.

Phil wasn't doing too well; he had constant breakdowns and nightmares.

The hardest part was Phil knowing he sent George to his death and almost killed Wilbur. He felt so much guilt for it. One of the worst deaths someone can have is burning alive.

George's screams and last words haunt him at night. He wished he never heard that recording or saw George's charred corpse.

There still has been no funeral for George. Puffy refused to bury her son, in case there was a chance for him to be in a coma. There was no way for them to tell since they couldn't take him to a hospital.

All it would take is for a doctor to take George's vitals to notice how his blood was different from a normal person's. If George was alive, he could end up getting sent to a government facility and become a lab rat.

Puffy refused to take that risk. If George was alive she wanted him home and not out of her reach.

The other families weren't doing too well either. The Jacobs household was a wreck.

Karl had constant mental breakdowns and he would end up breaking stuff when he wasn't crying. Foolish comforted him as best as he could, but Karl would push him away. Foolish would try to make sure Karl was taking care of himself, but he had to get a job to support them both, since Karl was too unstable to work.

Karl used to light up any room he walked in and he always was beaming with joy and taking care of his friends.

Karl was best friends with George. And when George died so did a part of Karl. Karl still tried to care for his friends and check on them one every week. He tried but it was hard to visit Sapnap and Dream and trying to ignore the silence that was alway filled by George's random rambling.

He would visit his friends and hang out with them for a bit before he had to leave because he was on the verge of crying.

The Nihachu household was dark and gloomy. Niki slept half of the time and the other half was spent researching medical techniques and trying to revive George. She tried to hold onto the hope that George would wake up, but she knew she was lying to herself.

She took care of Ranboo and Charlie. She felt responsible for them after taking them off of the streets. She felt awful that they had to witness that. Ranboo would teleport away and turn back up after a day or so.

Charlie would cook for Niki while she was trying to help George. He tried to help her around the house as much as he could. He didn't know George, but he still wanted to be there for her. For his savior and big sister. He took Niki's responsibilities to give her time to rest, study, and work.

He took care of Ranboo when he would come back and treat his wounds. He knew Ranboo felt guilty for not teleporting back and grabbing George and Wilbur. He did anything he could to help them.

The Wastaken household was worse than the Minecraft and Jacobs. Nobody took grief well there. George's body was with Niki who wanted to try to bring George back. But even with that chance there was always yelling.

It was always between Puffy and Dream. She would yell for hours at Dream about letting it happen and how he knew he should have listened to her. Dream would retort about how they were in debt to Phil. They both would end up saying stuff they shouldn't have.

"You're the reason why George is dead"

"I hate you"

"I wished you died instead of him."

"It's not my fault."

"I wish I was dead."

"You are his mother. You should have protected him in the first place!"

"I wish I had a different family."

"I should have got an abortion!"

"Why didn't you put me up for adoption?!!"

Neither would ever apologize for what words were exchanged.

Sapnap hated the yelling. It reminded him of his real parents arguing every single night. It reminded him of the group home he spent a year in. It reminded him of Schlatt.

When Dream and Puffy got into he would go hide in his closet and cover his ears. He would cry, because the people yelling weren't his family. Because he missed the boys he grew up with. He missed feeling loved and cared for.

He was scared of his family. It wasn't uncommon to hear Dream punch the shit out of the wall or hear Puffy scream out of anger and smash something glass.

He stayed away from Puffy who would drink in the middle of the night. He stayed away from Dream who would climb out of their window to smoke a cigarette.

When he was 7, Puffy used to talk about her alcoholic brother who she hates and how she hates alcohol. How she hates the feeling of being out of control.

When he was 12, Dream and him caught George smoking and Dream gave him a long lecture on how smoking is bad and how he doesn't want to lose him to lung cancer.

Now they both are hypocrites.

Sapnap couldn't cope with all of this. No one in the house would talk to him. When Sapnap did see them they always looked at him like they were terrified of him. The only time he talked to someone was when Karl would visit. That was an hour thing once a week.

Sapnap didn't understand how it all turned upside down for him. He missed sharing a bed with his brothers and hearing Dream snore and nearly freeze at night, because George took the blankets.

Dream slept in the guest room now. And Sapnap's heart had a gaping hole in it. He was alone in a house full of people who he loved.

Not to mention, he was horrified to use his power. Every time he saw a flame all he could think about was how this is what killed George. The problem with his power was how unstable it was with strong emotions. He would accidentally light books, tables, and papers on fire. Each time was a breakdown for him. Why did he take off that stupid powerband?

However, there was one household that was worse than all of these.

The Smith household.
