3rd Person's POV

Everybody got out of the car and looked at each other for comfort. Foolish was trying to calm Karl down since he was choking on his sobs.

Phil was leading the way into the building with the ten children following behind him. They all sat down in the chairs in the lobby and continued to whisper.

They all spoke in hushed voices to each other trying to calm each other down or remsiciding on memories of George. Phil had gone to talk to Puffy. He had seen Dream and Sapnap so he went to ask them where she was.

"I'm really sorry to bug you, mate, but where is your mom?" Phil asked. Both of the younger boys' eyes were red and they looked awful. Sapnap had his head buried into Dream's blazer with the patches that George sewed into it.

"She isn't here." Dream whispered in a sad tone.

Phil's face scrunched up in confusion and anger. Not here? As in she isn't even showing up for her son's funeral?

"What do you mean she isn't here?" Phil asked carefully hoping that he meant she was in the bathroom or talking to the owner.

"She didn't fucking show up, Phil! She said for me to handle it, since it's my brother that I wanted so badly. She simply just paid for the funeral and dropped us off. I had to plan this." Dream gestured around the room with tears of frustration running down his face. Sapnap seemed to hold onto him tighter as he raised his voice.

"Listen mate. I know you're angry, but there is nothing we can do and don't shout. That is disrespectful. I get you are upset, but don't yell. Did you get a funeral officiant?" I ask him gently.

"No. Mom said to do it myself if he mattered so much." Dream was now burying his face into Sapnap's hair. Phil's blood was boiling. First Puffy didn't want a funeral, now she paid for one and didn't show up. She made her sixteen year old son plan it and is making him run it.

Karl had walked over to Dream and Sapnap and brought them into a hug. They both accepted it and Dream broke down into a puddle of sobs.

Techno got up and walked over to awkwardly comfort Dream and give him a hug. Dream let go of Karl and Sapnap and ran towards Techno for comfort. His best friend beside George and Sapnap.

"It doesn't feel real. I'm falling back into back habits, Tech. I just want him back. He doesn't deserve this. He deserves a grand funeral. He didn't do anything wrong." Dream cried into the older man's chest who just rubbed circles onto his back. Not try to shush him, just to calm him down.

After a while Dream pulled away and began to walk out of the funeral home to the area he had picked for George. It was underneath a willow tree. Dream grudgingly walked closer to his spot. To the podium that was next to George's casket. He had pulled out his speech that he had written. Phil had told him that there is a ritual he had to say to release George's soul and to give him his eternal peace, but said that he could do it for him, since he has some much weight on his shoulders.

Dream waited for everybody to sit down before he began. The entire front row was reserved for George's family. The row that should have been full and instead all that is there Sapnap. Dream had tried to get George's government file off of Puffy, but she had told him no. He wanted to send invitations to them. He wanted to meet the people who brought his best friend into the world. Who have the same face as him and laugh. The people who made George, George.

Dream went through the formalities, not daring to let himself glance down. Finally came the time that he was dreading most. Dream tried to hold his voice strong. "You may now say your goodby-" Dream broke down into a fit of sobs. It didn't feel right. It didn't feel real. His best friend was ripped from the world and given a painful cruel death.

Dream stepped off the podium and ran to Sapnap. Nobody noticed him on the edge of panic attack. They were too busy saying goodbye to George, too busy with their own grief and their own problems.

Dream tore himself away from Sapnap. He knew it was time. To see the body he had brought home. The body that Sapnap came running out of the burning mansion with. The body of his big brother who used to be so careless before they had lost Sapnap. The body whose laugh used to ring through Dream's ears.

Dream forced himself to walk up to the coffin. He tried to be strong as he couldn't earlier. All it took was a good look at George for him to lose everything he had been holding in.

George had been wearing his same outfit from the mission. The same patches littered his arm. The orange flame with a bandana, the white mask with a smiley face, the purple book with a green swirl. His hoodie had been patched and sewn back together to hide the burn marks. The stitching was blue and stuck out from the hoodie. His hoodie still had singe marks on it. The hardcore heart that was on his shoulder was half burnt off.

Resting in George hand were blue hydrangeas. The same flower that was surrounding his casket. Blue hydrangeas mean apology, gratitude, and understanding. Dream had chosen them since he felt so bad about all the times he had fought George while Sapnap was gone and while preparing. George was the most understanding person and deserved the utmost gratitude.

Dream tore his eyes from George's torso and forced himself to look at George's face. George's face didn't even look pale. He looked like he was taking a nap after school. Dream half expected him to start to move or mumble something like George always does in his sleep. George's right cheek and neck had burn scars covering almost half of his face. They seemed so out of place on George, like they were makeup and not real.

Dream knew he had tears streaming down his face, but he didn't care. He heard Sapnap walk up to the casket and decided he had spent a long enough time.

"I love you, George." Dream leaned down and gave George a kiss on his forehead before turning and leaving. He sat down in a seat next to Sapnap. Phil had offered him to release George's soul and he had accepted, scared that he would mess it up.

Dream tried not to cry as he saw Sapnap take out of his pocket George's bracelet. The green and orange one that matched the one on Dream's wrist and the one on Sapnap's.

Dream held it together. He had felt that he cried too much. He planned on letting himself let it out at home. He needed to be strong for Sapnap. Sapnap leaned into the casket, kissed George forehead and then came and sat down by Dream.

Phil went up to the podium. He spoke for a bit about how great of a person George was. He then went on to say how incredibly smart and talented George was. He spoke about how now that we had said our goodbyes it was time for George to say his.

"Goodbye George. You may now go on to rest eternal. We wish you a safe journey." Philza had tears running down his face and he waited for it.

George's body glowed a soft blue where his heart was. The blue seemed to have bled out from him and flowed upwards. It had started to form a shape. The blue light had formed into a person shape and with darker blue lines defining his face and features. The shape was George, except it wasn't.

It wasn't George how he had looked when he died. It was a small child who resembled George. He couldn't have been more than 7.

He was floating and looked around for someone. He didn't seem to recognize anyone there. He seemed scared by all the unfamiliar faces to him.

The funeral went silent and they could hear the sound of someone running towards them. Somebody was running towards them. They ran through the willow tree leaves and were standing in the middle of the funeral.

Standing in the middle of George's funeral was Mr. Vice President himself.

Alex Quackity.
