Asher was walking through the mall with Trisha, still thinking about how she treated Catlin back there.
"Hey, Ashy, is something wrong?" Trisha asked, noticing her boyfriend had been quiet for a while now.
"You know the answer to that, so why even bother to act like you don't know what's wrong," Asher sighed.
"Come, don't tell me you're still upset about Catlin Ashy," Trisha sighed."I mean, come on, she is wearing a lemon on her head."
"So you didn't stop dating me last year because of my terrible haircut," Asher replied.
"That's different. It wasn't your fault your hair was cut uneven."
"And it not her fault the uniform is a lemon hat."
"Ashy, let's not argue about this. Let's just get lunch and head on home. "
"Alright, we won't fight. Let's grab you a salad, and I will get a burger and fries from the food court," Asher said as they headed out to grab some lunch."Tomorrow I start my first day at my new job."
"Okay, Ashy, thanks for not being mad anymore. I hate when you are upset," Trisha said, kissing Asher's cheek.
"Yeah," Asher sighed as he gave her a faint smile.
'Maybe I shouldn't break up with her.' He thought as he arrived at a table and pulled out a chair for Trisha before going to order lunch for the both of them.
After a couple of minutes, Asher came back with a tray containing a bowl of Ceaser Salad and a cheeseburger, and french fries.
"Here's your salad," He said, heading Trisha a medium-size bowl of salad.
"Thank you. Got one of my favorite salads," She said, grabbing the plastic fork off the tray.
"Of course, I remember your favorite foods, " Asher said, smiling at her and clearing his mind of his concerns for now while he was having lunch with his girlfriend.

Asher was now driving home after dropping Trisha off at her house. His mind was once again running with so many thoughts about Trisha.
'Trisha is a beautiful good and makes me smile, but her attitude can be terrible around others, but she wasn't always like that when we first met.' Asher thought as he was waiting for the red light to turn green.
After the light changed, Asher continued driving toward his house. After going through one more light, he turned into the neighborhood where he lived.
He drove down the block and past five large houses until he reached the sixth house, which was red with a black roof and multiply windows. There was a blue Audi parked in the driveway.
"Looks like mom is home from work," Asher said, pulling up next to his mother's car.
He turned the car off and got out, and headed on inside as a puppy tackled him. Golden Retriever Retriever jumped at him.
"Good to see you, buddy," He smiled, petting behind the little fellow ear.
"I see that you back from the mall," A woman with orange hair going down her back said, walking out of the kitchen.
"Yeah, since your home, there's something I need to talk about," Asher said with a sigh.
"Did the job hunt not go well, son?" She asked, concerned.
"No, I found a job. I need advice on something," He explained.
"Alright, why don't we talk over a cup of tea, " She said, signaling him into the kitchen.
"Okay," He replied, following her into the kitchen to talk.
••••
Asher and his mother were now sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of chai tea in front of them.
"So, son, what is bothering you that you need my advice with?" His mother asked.
"It, Trisha," He said with a sigh.
"What happened? I thought everything was going well. You seem excited early when you plan to hang out at the mall together."
"Yeah, I have been happy with my relationship, but today she just upset me, I guess," He replied.
"Tell me, what did she do to upset you suddenly?"
"You know Catlin, the girl our new friend we made in tenth grade?"
"Yeah, I remember you talking about a new girl at the school," His mom replied."What does she have to do with Trisha upsetting you?" She asked.
"Well, Catlin had to get a job for using up so much money on her father's card," Asher started."So Trisha made fun of her because of that and said she couldn't be her friend anymore."
"That makes no sense. She didn't act that way about you talking about getting a job. She seemed happy for you."
"Yeah, I told her that, and she said you don't have to wear a lemon on your head. I mean, look at her. That's's's just ridiculous."
"So she doesn't want to be Catlin's friend anymore because of the uniform?"
"Yes, and her attitude upset me, and now it's like I love her and all, but I just don't know if I can continue to date someone who acts like she was at that moment."
"So that what you want advice on if you should dump her or not?"
"Yeah, I don't know what to do. She was nice to me and made me happy, but her attitude was horrible to others. Catlin, my friend, and I feel wrong about what Trisha said, but I still have strong feelings for Trisha."
"I can't say Trisha is in the right, but she hasn't been herself since the Zane incident. However, if you love her, then you can deal with her behavior or decide if you can't continue to deal with her issues and dump her."
"I do love her, and it never bothered me too much, but this time she was rude to a friend," He sighed.
"I tell you this if you genuinely love her, then you will continue to put up with her, but if you don't love her as much as you claim, then it is best to dump her, but you should think carefully about this are you might make a mistake you will regret by dumping her the one time she makes you upset."
"Thanks, mom. I still don't know what to do, but I feel a bit better now."
"Your heart will know the right thing to do. Just listen to it carefully," She smiled.
"Right," Asher whispered.
