Day 255: Why The Sun Sets Red

Maxay's P.O.V

" You two are early."

Roxas and I were startled when Axel finally appeared.

" No, you're just late." Roxas corrected.

I scuff. " As perusal." I said not surprised.

Axel came and sat on my right side. We sitting on the Twilight Town clock tower. It's a place the four of us like to hang out whenever we finished a boring mission.

I held the fire user a Seal Salt Ice Cream bar. " You two having a little date while I was gone?" Axel chuckles.

" Huh?" Roxas tilted his head.

I held back the ice cream from his reach as I glared at him. I was going to ask him what a 'date' was but judging from his actions after, I knew it wasn't good. " The next time you say something stupid, I won't hesitate to push you off this tower myself." I threaten.

Axel nervously scratches his head. " Alright, alright, sorry about that! Can I have my ice cream now?" He holds out his hand.

I let out another scuff and handed it to him.

" Today makes 255." Roxas mutters suddenly.

" What's that about?" Axel asked taking a bit of his ice cream.

" It's been that many days since Maxay and I joined the Organization. Man, times flies." Roxas told us.

I raised one of my eyebrows. " You're keeping count?" I honestly didn't know it's been that long.

" So, you got the number memorized, do you?" Axel teased.

" Yeah. Have to hang onto something, right? It's not like I have memories from before the Organization. Don't you remember? I acted like a zombie." Roxas said.

" Right, that first week you could barely form a sentence. But come on, you're still kind of a zombie. Don't forget, Maxay was worst. She knew how to talk but was just being damn stubborn and acted like she hated everything around her." Axel teased again.

" Oh, thanks!" Roxas laughed it off.

I stared back to my ice cream. " I--I wasn't that bad... was I?" I asked recalling back those memories.

" Ah, don't worry, we eventually broke you out of your shell." Axel ruffles my hair.

I groan. But then we ended up laughing.

" Hey, Roxas, Maxay. Bet you don't know why the sun sets red." Axel said changing the subject. " You see, light is made of lost of colors. And out of all those colors, red is the one that travels the farthest."

" Like we asked! Know-it-all." Roxas brushed him off. 

" I'm more surprised he knows something." I teased along.  We just laughed. 

" Seriously, where is she?" Roxas questioned looking over at the entrance wondering if 'she' was going to show today.

I didn't say anything and just stared into my wooden stick from finishing the popsicle. It's only a matter of time. 

Day   7 ~ Number XIV~

Maxay's P.O.V

When I opened my eyes I was greeted with white walls. It wasn't the same white walls from before when I first woke up.

Getting out of bed, I looked through the window to see, neon lit skyscrapers glowed against a black sky.
Oh, yeah... this is my room. The World That Never Was. I'm the fifteen member of the Organization XV. Me... Maxay.
