Normal P.O.V

Back at the Castle That Never Was... Roxas woke up to start his day.  It's been 26 days since he joined the Organisation. "I wonder what today's mission is?" He thought to himself.  "I hope it's with Xion." He mutters. After getting to know her better, Roxas began to feel comfortable being around her. She was the only one he could talk to when Axel and Maxay were on their own mission. 

For a short second, he glances out his window. " Hope Maxay's doing okay." 

"...Then what in blazes did happen?" 

This is the first thing Roxas hears upon entering the Grey Area.  The atmosphere was different than normal.

"Don't look at me, man! I just found out minutes ago." Demyx's expression also looked darker than usual.

'I'm getting... a really bad feeling about this." Roxas thought. 

Curious, Roxas walks up to Xigbar to find out why everyone is so on edge. "Is everything okay?" He asked. 

"Okay? As if. Word has it at least one of the folks we sent to Castle Oblivion has been terminated." Xigbar explained the situation to the young Keyblade wielder. 

Roxas was shocked. "Terminated? But that means..." He'd hoped it wasn't Axel or Maxay who were the ones that were Terminated. 

Just then Siax walks towards them. "Roxas, your mission. Go with Xigbar to Agrabah." He bluntly gave Roxas his order. 

 "Is it true then about Castle Oblivion?" Roxas asked with worry ignoring the fact that he had just been given a new assignment. 

"That's none of your concern. " The older member brushed him off. 

" Maxay and Axel?" Roxas asked about his friends. 

"Axel's gone. He may have disappeared for good." Siax told him. 

Roxa's eyes widen. "What?" He frowns as Xigbar and Siax walk passed him. 

He couldn't believe it. There's no way Axel is gone.  Now his worriedness for Maxay grew. She was alright, right?

On the other side of the darkness was a town bathed in strong sunlight, and surrounded by desert- Agrabah. 

Today's mission is to investigate this new world.

"This world is sweltering." Xigbart surveyed the area, then turned back to Roxas, coming after him. "Let's finish investigating quick, and RTC." 

Even when pressed, Roxas was kind of zoned out.  "what's up? Is this new world really that much of a novelty?" 

"They said that someone who went to Castle Oblivion was annihilated..." mumbled Roxas, shaking his head. 

"Haha-that's the thing that's got you like this?" 

Looking down, Roxas scuffed his foot. The dry earth skittered. "Thing..." 

"Let's get going." 

"... Was everyone annihilated?" said Roxas, head still down, and Xigbar shrugged exaggeratedly. 

"Weeeell... we'll know the details when we've RTC'd, as they say. Let's go, kiddo." 

At those words, Roxas finally got moving and began the investigation.
