Maxay's P.O.V

When Axel and I arrived at Castle Oblivion, I couldn't help but get this strange feeling that I'd been here before. But how can that be when I never left The Organization? As we started our mission at Castle Axel, Marluxia informed me that I had a hidden power. One that Xemnas wasn't aware of.

I had the ability to change and rearrange the memories of people. I had no idea how they found out power this wired power of mine but I wasn't the only one with it. That's where I met her... Namine.

A quiet girl with blond hair and blue eyes like mine. For an instant, I also had that weird feeling that I'd already met her somewhere. Like, I did with Roxas. And like me, she has the ability to erase people's memories. But that's all she can do, erase them.

I was at a loss as to why I was even here on this mission in the first place. Marluxia explained his devious plan to us. He wanted Namine to rewrite the memories of a young boy named Sora.

When that name was said, it was like I got struck with Larxen lightning. I didn't know who this Sora was and was. All I know is that he's able to use Keyblade. I was starting to notice that having the ability to possess a Keyblade is rare and it's something the Organization wants desperately.

Namine was given the task to erase Sora's memories, and I was given the order to recreate new memories where Namine and I were in his life before and replace them with the memories of two girls, Maya and Kairi.

Maya...

So many questions ran through my mind. Who's Sora? Who's Maya? And why did they sound so familiar to me?

Namine and I didn't really have a choice if we accepted or not. We'd be turning to dusk either way.

So, that's where we are now. Sora's been making his way through the halls of Castle Oblivion slowly forgetting memories of Maya and Kairi. Upon seeing his memories of his childhood, I could see that this 'Maya' seemed to be someone special to him. The memories they shared seemed so happy.

It was strange being able to see everything they'd done together. Something stirred inside me. Which made me think how was that possible? I thought Nobodies aren't supposed to feel anything.

This started to feel wrong to me. Making someone believe in memories of a lie.

Normal P.O.V

On the tenth floor of Castle Oblivion.

"So you're Riku." Vexen had been lying in wait for Riku who had just arrived on the floor.

'If we did things according to my research, it would theoretically be possible to transfer memories and abilities to a doll without the power of those two witches.' He smirked to himself. 'Yes0according to my replica project.'

"Who are you-a friends of Ansem's?" Riku asked with a glare.

There was a sarcastic chuckle. "A friend of Ansem's-that's half right, I suppose. But I'll tell you this, he's different from the Ansem you know. He's Ansem, but then he's not... that is to say, he's 'nobody'." Vexen closed in on Riku.

'I can sense a mighty dark power in Riku. Perhaps that power could exceed even that of the Keyblade Hero. If only that smudge bit of light that's in the depths of his heart could be put out. No doubt that light belongs to the princess.'

Riku was trying to make sense of Vexens rambling. "His Nobody? Huh- I'm in a really bad mood right now. Be clearer."

"A being that walks the twilight, belonging to neither darkness nor light? Heh heh heh... have you noticed? That's right, just like the one in this realm between darkness and light; you. I'm the same. In other words, we are fellow similar beings." Vexen explained.
