"So does this make you two our grandparents?" Hitori asked the angels

"I think it does." Kazuma said

"Hehe~ Hiya grandpa~" Hitori almost immediately got attached and hugged then angel soldier the four called their father

"Hello grandfather." Yukio greeted, hugging the angel with an Akiza like smile

"We have a grandma~!" Lumi and Eirwen cheered, hugging the Raito leader

Scarlet couldn't help a small smile at the two little girls

Genesis sat down on his seat after grabbing SCP-458 from the dining hall and taking a slice of his 4 cheese thin crust pizza.

Akiza suddenly appeared behind him, hugging him tightly. "I don't know what you reset but...thank you.." Akiza whispered as she kissed his cheek. "This family...I love it so much.."

Genesis just gave her an innocent look. "Whatever do you mean?" he asked but he held a knowing yet fond smile. "Your welcome, Aki. Anything to make you happy." he thought.

"So, shall we start?" Genesis asked the guests.

"Sounds good to me." Mina said, as the other came in and sat down

Genesis gasped lightly as for half a second, he was looking at Strife hugging him before Aki replaced her. "Thank you." She said, almost sniffling, she was so happy

"You're welcome." was all he thought.

"Come on, Aki." Lyla said, carrying the younger girl to her seat while shooting Genesis a thankful smile

"Alright, let's start." Genesis said as the screen flickered to life.

The dynamic duo arrives in the world of Melromarc. This Melromarc, however, according to GM, had no Shield Hero.

Raphtalia and Filo couldn't help but hug Naofumi who returned it

"No accursed shield huh? There is a god.." Aultcray thought

"So Iwatani won't be there huh? No matter. Those two seem like they could be fun~" Myne thought sinisterly

"They really shouldn't celebrate too early." Genesis thought.

"I take it they're like us? By which I mean, knowing what happens." Akatsuki telepathically asked

"You'll see." Genesis answered him.

The very first Shield Hero fell in battle against a powerful being, with the hero being forgotten in time.

"Even better" Aultcray thought

However, there was also something different. According to GM, World Jumpers of the past, Jumpers that were around even before GM became who he was and before he became the last, had visited different other worlds before. Two of those World Jumpers, a couple, landed here, in this version of Melromarc that they're in right now.

"So this version of Melromarc had the World Jumpers before?" Melty asked

"These two and GM weren't the only ones, huh?" Motoyasu followed up

"Yes and no." Genesis answered both questions.

The couple decided to take refuge in this world and remained here to become its protectors after the Shield fell. They took the mantle and called themselves the Glitch Heroes. Heroes that are unbound by the laws of the Cardinal Heroes, wielders of other worldly powers, earning the title name Glitched Heroes. And unlike the Cardinal Heroes who grew older in time, the Glitch Heroes did not.
