Level 19:Pope vs Heroes

"Now then, if everyone's ready." Akatsuki said as he gently shook Akiza awake

"Huh? How'd we get here?" Akiza asked with a cute yawn

"Suki carried you here, dear." Scarlet said, rubbing the ice goddess' head.

"Oh. Okie. Where's Tenshi?" Akiza yawned as Akatsuki put her down and she rubbed her eyes

"She got yeeted by Genesis." Reiko pointed at the side of the wall where Tenshi's lower body was hanging out of.

"I'm all good." Tenshi said, trying to get herself out.

Akiza came over and knocked on the wall, breaking it enough to pull her sister free and dusted her off "All better?"

Tenshi nodded before stuffing herself into the wall. "Fire the cannon!" she said before she was flicked back inside by an astral hand. "Wrong side dummy." she whined.

"We're going to watch now, play time's over." Genesis shrugged as he helped her up.

"You're a weirdo~" Akiza playfully teased poking her sides

"Hahaha, I hehe, got it from someone~" Tenshi teased back, despite her giggling fits.

"You're both weird. Now then, let's begin." Akatsuki said, starting the screen

The scene opens up to show the Bow Hero, Sword Hero, and their parties standing on the outskirts of a treeline that overlooked a cave. According to their intel, this cave housed a powerful replica of the legendary weapons.

Ren and Itsuki remembered this moment.

"We owe them our lives." Itsuki said, earning a nod of agreement from the sword hero

Itsuki: *looks up from map* This is the place.

They all entered the cave and trudged in deeper until they arrived in a cavern. In the center was a shrine of sorts. They walked up to the shrine and found a coffin in the middle.

"Why would a replica be in a coffin?" Weiss asked, growing suspicious.

Ren: Here's where the four cardinal weapons...

Itsuki: Yeah, there's no doubt about it.

Itsuki perked up and looked at the open ceiling above them. Ren, meanwhile, opened the coffin and to his confusion, there was nothing inside it.

Ren: Hey! What's going on here?! It's empty!

Itsuki narrows his eyes and sees a bright shine on the sky. His eyes widen as he gasps in shock at the realization of what that shine was.

"Oh shit.." Lubbock muttered realizing what that was

"So that's what happened to them..." Naofumi narrowed his eyes

Itsuki: Everyone run! We gotta–

*KABOOM*

"That's what happened to them? It was the pope?!" Motoyasu shouted

"You finally put two and two together." Bulat rolled his eyes

"No, it was totally Naofumi. Everyone knows how his shield can summon golden death lasers from the sky." Cyra snarked, sarcasm dripping off every word

"I bet the bitch could tell you Naofumi did just that and you'd believe her." Connie snarked

"Considering he's believed everything she said without any real proof, he totally would." Jiro agreed

The cave that they were in was engulfed in a bright light and a powerful explosion soon followed. One that could be seen from the sky.

Itsuki opens his eyes and finds himself laying on the ground, outside the cave entrance, far away from the blast. He sits up and sees Ren laying a few feet away from him, also sitting up in confusion.
