my hero...

this was a request but i don't think i did to good of a job with writing it

i repeat in my head tapping on the desk as i wait for my turn to present my project.

"y/n" the teacher calls and instantly my breathing picks up and i stark panicking my anxiety going through the roof. "y/n" i hear my name again and i come to realise i never moved and now everyone was looking at me great.

slowly getting up i walk to the front of the class and turn around watching everyone's judgemental looks.

"for my hero i chose my dad" i tell the class showing an image of tony stark.

"as you know iron man saved many against thanos and he saved the world multiple times. he-" i was cut of by a girl in my class a snarky teachers pet if you will.

"i'm sorry ms isn't this supposed to be about a historical hero" she asks

"well yes but y/n has decided to do her dad so please continue" the teacher pushes and i don't know if i can continue i mean everyone's still looking at me and now some have realised i didn't even do the task properly and began snickering to their friends. making around half the class laugh at me.

when i don't continue to talk some jock says what's on his mind

"i'm mean we all know her dads dead so it's historical right" he laughs i don't know if it was meant to be comforting but it was just another reminder my father is gone.

i look over to my teacher and silently asking what i should do

" that's enough class let y/n finish " she demands urging me to continue so i do with no more interruptions and quickly run back to my seat.

i feel like everyone's looking at me still and feel like any talk is about me and they are all laughing at me it probably isnt. however it doesn't help when a spit wad flys onto my cheek.

i tap trying to calm down telling myself i look stupid. my leg starts to shake as i think about things more and more

i don't want to make any eye contact with anyone afraid of the backlash.
