Chapter 15

"I'm going to the store today," Fiona called out as she picked up the dirty laundry from the hallway and threw them down the laundry shoot.

Debbie ran out of the bathroom holding up a roll of streamers, "toilet paper, I'm starting to chafe from the streamers," she told her older sister before going downstairs.

"Toothpaste," said Carl as he walked into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Hollie ran out of her bedroom and into the bathroom, searching the shelves, "fuck, hey fi?" she stuck her head out of the bathroom, "we need tampons," she said as she tossed the empty box into the trash.

"Hold on," said Fiona as she disappeared into her bedroom, returning a few seconds later with a tampon which she handed to Hollie, "here, it's my last one so I'll get a box," she said, adding tampons to her shopping list.

"Thanks," said Hollie as she went back into the bathroom and re-emerged a minute later, readjusting her black leggings, "what the fuck are you wearing by the way?" she asked when she noticed Fiona's outfit combination of a tank top, an oversized shirt, boxers, calf-high socks and boots.

"Fuck off," said Fiona, "I haven't had a chance to get dressed properly yet.

"Why are Steve's clothes down here?" Debbie yelled up the stairs.

"Well, somebody couldn't wait to get upstairs last night," said lip as he emerged from Debbie and Liam's room with Liam. Liam's lower half was wrapped in a towel.

"We out of diapers?" asked Fiona, adding diapers to the list.

"Yeah, but I put a plug up his butt. Didn't I buddy?" said Lip in a baby voice, "oh, it's okay." He said as he went into the bathroom.

"That towels gonna leak," said Hollie.

"Yeah, I'm on it," said Lip, "you have a hole in your ass by the way," He said nodding to a hole in the back of her leggings.

"Damn it," she muttered as she went back into her room to change her pants.

"Ugh, so my SAT gigs a bust but, uh, I could scrape up some money another way if you need help," said Lip.

"It's cool. I got 35 bucks." said Fiona, "plus I'm picking up that temp check later."

"Okay,"

Hollie came back out of her room after changing her leggings and handed Fiona some cash, "I get paid tomorrow but here's 25," said as she shoved the money into Fiona's hand before she could say she didn't need it.

Carl held out a taser and was making buzzing noises as he pretended to tase Lip and Liam. "Is that a taser? Where'd you get that?" asked Fiona, now distracted so that Hollie could slip downstairs before Fiona could give her the money back.

Debbie was standing on the stairs with a phone in her hand, "What's that Debs?" Hollie asked.

She showed the phone to Hollie. It was Steve's phone and on the screen was a message from someone called Candace. Hollie took the phone from her and turned back up the stairs, "who's Candace?" she asked as she reached the hallway.

"I have no idea. You aren't going, Carl?" Fiona turned back to her conversation with the boys.

"No, it costs $27," Carl told her. Fiona took the cash that Hollie have her, plus another 2 dollars, out of her pocket and handed it to Carl, "here," she said.

"Awesome," said Carl as he took the money and went downstairs.

"Thanks," said Lip.

"What?"
