Narrator's POV

Lisa and Irene have been classmates since the start of middle school but they never converse with each other. Probably the reason is because Lisa and Irene are way different from each other.

Irene was considered a nerd because of her big eyeglasses and let's also say she wasn't considered as a popular kid due to her unsociable behavior and physical appearance.

She's a chubby kid wearing big eyeglasses, not really good at making friends and she's really shy. While Lisa is one of the popular kids being the class clown, the social butterfly, being good at sports and having really good facial features.

It was finally the day of middle school graduation and it was being held at the school's gymnasium area. After almost 3 hours, the ceremony had finally ended but the newly graduated students still needed to meet in their respective classrooms to return their rented graduation gowns.

The class of Lisa and Irene are having some pictures together in their classroom before they returned their graduation gowns. It will also be the first time Lisa and Irene will talk to each other.

Irene's POV

I don't know how many pictures we already took but it seems like my classmates haven't had enough yet. Not to mention we also had our last class picture during the ceremony on the stage. Though I didn't really have made more friends except for my best friend Wendy, I am still thankful not one of my classmates is a bully.

"Last pic, guys!" Said by one of my classmates.

"Finally." I heard my best friend who's beside me saying it and it made me chuckle.

I didn't notice the other girl beside me was Lisa. She never talked to me nor I haven't talked to her. I remember being on the same group projects with her a couple of times but we never conversed with each other. I guess she only talks to the other popular kids.

"Oh, gosh. I've been starving since the start of the ceremony." I heard Lisa say while touching her tummy.

I remember I still have a chocolate bar in my pocket and since my family and I will eat somewhere after this, I thought I should just give it to her.

"Here." I said to her as I handed her the chocolate bar.

She looked at me and the chocolate bar I'm holding. I never saw her beautiful doe eyes as big as they are now. Her mouth is also wide open and I couldn't help but smile at her adorable reaction.

Lisa: Oh my god! Really? You're giving this to me, Irene?

"Umm. Yeah." I said as I released a giggle.

Lisa: Are you sure?

"Yes. You said you're starving."

Lisa: Oh thank you, thank you! You're an angel, Irene. Assa!

She said as she took the chocolate bar from my hand and not to exaggerate but her reaction seems like she won the lottery.

Lisa: You don't know how many people I've asked for food. I knew I should have come to you right away.

She said as she took the food wrapper off but her eyes suddenly became wide again before she took a bite of the chocolate bar.

Lisa: I'm sorry. I didn't mean it in that way. I was just saying I should ask you first instead of going into much trouble earlier.

She panicked and to be honest I also didn't think of her response in that way. Now, I realized why I caught Miss Nam scolding Lisa at the back while we're having the ceremony. I heard our teacher calling out Lisa a bunch of times for being noisy during the ceremony. It's because she kept asking everyone around for food which I find really cute of her.
