Dear Draco,

It's day 2 in his hell. Leo bought some stuff for me today and I begged him to get me a notebook, so here I am, writing letters you'll never get to read. I only slept for an hour last night, I dreamed about you. I saw your face, it felt so real. But what if so many days pass that I won't be able to remember what you look like anymore? I'm hiding the necklace you gave me underneath my shirt. I don't want to know what he'll do when he finds it.

You're my anchor, you're keeping me from losing my mind, even if you're not here. Despite being here with Leo, I feel so alone. I don't have anyone to talk to about my feelings, or joke about stupid things.

Realizing that this is my life from now on is tearing me apart. I wonder how you're doing, but I don't think you're happy. Maybe a part of you is even angry with me for not telling you. I get it, I really do. You fought so hard to keep me safe, from both Riley and Leo. And I know you don't like who you are, but I do. I never really got to tell you this, but you're my hero. And I hope you're not blaming yourself for what happened. It's not your fault. It's his. Everything that happened is his fault.

I was really hoping we would somehow be able to go to our date on Friday. I was curious about what you'd planned out for me, you were so excited.

All my love,
Your darling.

I closed the notebook, placing the black pen down. A deep sigh filled the silent room while I ran a hand through my hair. "What were you writing?" Leo spoke up, who had been working on the cabin. "Nothing important." I said quietly.

"I installed a heater in the bedroom, by the way." He said, standing on a chair while changing some lightbulbs. "Hm." I hummed. He didn't deserve to be praised for that. "We're going back to my Manor tomorrow. Some important things we have to discuss." He said, flipping the switch, a couple lights turning on, making me squint my eyes.

"What kind of things?" I asked. Leo was probably up to all kinds of bad things, I had to at least prepare myself. "I need to take care of some people. You're gonna help me kill them." He said casually. My eyes widened and I got up from the couch. "I'm not killing innocent people!" I said fiercely.

"They're not innocent, darling. Bad people. Wouldn't join me, not even when I asked nicely." Leo grinned, now putting up some paintings he found at an antique store. "People who don't want to join you are still innocent." I said stubbornly.

He was making an effort to make the cabin look nice, but he could bring me into the most expensive house and I'd still want to go home.

"I disagree." He said, opening the flower patterned curtains all the way. "Why do you want me to kill them? Can't you do it yourself?" I asked. Draco would never force me to kill someone if I didn't want to. "Yes, I can. But I want to train you." Leo said, grabbing a new blanket out of the bag, placing it down next to me on the sofa.

"Draco already did. I know how to kill someone." I said. Leo looked at me, clenching his jaw tightly. "I don't want to hear that name anymore. Do you understand?" He said sternly, sitting down next to me. "He's in the past. You won't see him again, so no need to mention him or think about him."

I looked away, biting my tongue until I felt it was almost starting to bleed. "Look at me." He said in a cold voice. I didn't want last night to repeat itself, so I turned my head back to him. "Do you understand?" He asked again, his eyes piercing through me. "Yes." I said quietly, my chest feeling empty.
