Reality began to set in as I watched Enzo pack his bags. A hollow feeling creeped up on me, something so cold that I felt frozen in place. Enzo was ranting to me about marrying Lydia and how excited he was, but I was just worried.

Of course I was happy for him, but I had no idea how long it'd take for them to get back. My best friends, both in another country to get eloped. Sounds terrifying but yes, beautiful for them.

"You should've seen his face, I'm sure that he knew something, but I don't even care! I'm getting married to my girlfriend and he actually thought that he was going to get her just like that, like she was some sort of vintage item at an auction. That piece of shit never deserved her— God, I hate him!"

I turned my head when I felt a hand on my upper arm, and was relieved to see Draco smiling down at me. "Are you alright?" He whispered, placing a kiss on my hair. He always knew when I wasn't doing well, he was becoming a lie detector too. "Yes, I'm just going to miss them." I said softly.

Enzo stopped talking and turned around, frowning. "Hello, I was asking for your support! When I say that I hate a guy, you're supposed to be like 'Oh my God— yes, Enzo, I know! He's such a prick. Why don't we kill him?' Like, I feel so alone in this right now." Enzo said, mocking my voice.

"I don't sound like that!" I say loudly, while Draco hugged me from behind, wrapping his arms around my shoulders. I needed that. I looked up at Draco, also needing his support on my side to insult Enzo together. "Uh, don't bring your scary bodyguard boyfriend into this." Enzo said.

"Enzo, finish packing your bag before I throw your open suitcase down the stairs so you can do it all over again." Draco said calmly, making me bite my lip surpress a grin. "I need new friends." Enzo muttered, neatly folding his clothes as he mumbled more things to himself I couldn't make out.

"You're just jealous that I'm getting married." Enzo said, taking a small bag out of the bathroom, stuffing it into his suitcase. "Mhm. Super jealous.." Draco hummed, most likely grinning like an idiot. We hadn't told Enzo about our engagement yet, we didn't want to steal the spotlight.

"Don't sound so sarcastic. You know, if you want to marry that little thing, all you have to do is ask her." Enzo said, smirking at my frown from the nickname. "Oh, why hadn't I thought of that?" Draco scoffed, making me laugh softly, hiding it behind my hand. Enzo stared at us, narrowing his eyes.

"You two are hiding something from me." Enzo said in a low voice, walking towards us. I pressed my lips together, shaking my head. "No, we're not." I said, having more trouble than I expected to keep myself from smiling. Enzo's eyes lowered to my hand before I was able to hide it.

"Yes, you are. You are oddly cheerful and Mr. Stick up his ass just attempted to make the first joke in his whole life." Enzo said, grabbing onto my wrist, pulling my hand towards his face. He looked at the ring, then at Draco, back at the ring, then at me. I was such a terrible liar.

"You're getting married too." Enzo said in a soft voice, letting go of my hand. The cat was out of the bag, we couldn't keep lying. "Yeah, we are." Draco said. I could just picture his face expressions. "Teddy, I feel so betrayed right now. Why didn't you tell me?" Enzo said, unable to hide a laugh.

"You're getting married, Enzo. We didn't want to steal your spotlight." I said softly, hoping with my whole heart that he didn't mind. "I don't give a shit! Wow— this is amazing! I knew it from the start.." Enzo laughed, pulling me out of Draco's grip. He put his arms around me, lifting me off the floor.

"As long as you'll let me be the bridesmaid." Enzo said, putting me back down. Draco frowned. "Sure." I laughed, my heart warming up with joy. "Just don't tell Ezra, okay? He's gonna find out someday, but it's too soon now." I said, lowering my voice.
