Carefully balancing three large Tupperware boxes was difficult, with your book bag and trying to see around them. You hear footsteps hurry towards you, and a handsome happy face appears around the Tupperware. Eddie gives you a big smile and the cutest little wave.
Instinctively you go to reach out to him, but gravity reminds you about the Tupperware boxes, and you snatch your hand back to where it was. Eddie looks up the stack of Tupperware, "Can I help you take these somewhere?"
"Oh, would you? that would be great!"
He takes two from you so you can finally see where you are going. He's peering into them and lifting up the boxes, trying to make out what is inside, as he follows you, " Do you take home ec? Or is this for a bake sale or something?"
"Or something", you giggle to yourself. Eddie eyes you with amused curiosity, "Ok, we're here...TADAAA."
Eddie looks up from the boxes, "Oh hey, it's my van." He chirps.
You raise your eyebrows and widen your eyes at him to help him push the last two pieces of the puzzle together.
"Do you need me to help you deliver them?" He tries a guess.
You shake your head.
"Store them?" He ventures
You shake your head again.
"Lace them with something?" He says triumphantly
"No, Eddie", you laugh, though it's tinged with sadness, "These are for you."
"What those ones?" He nods at the box you're holding.
"Yep, and all those ones too" you nod towards his arms.
"What?" He says, tilting his head like a puppy who heard a strange noise, "Why would you-"
You suddenly get a sinking feeling, like you've read everything wrong, and go to grab the boxes back from him, "Oh sorry, yeah...um...I can take these back."
He hisses at you and turns his body and the tubs away from you dramatically, "You will not be taking these back. They're mine now, you said so" he scoffs, "Move back, woman! I need to be with my treasures and my van" he says in a war timely British accent.
You step back, and he snatches the last tub from your arms, opens the side door, jumps in his van with them and slams the door behind him.
You listen against the door. You can hear some shuffling around and the sounds of the opening of the tub, lengthly inhales, and occasional crunching.
You nearly jump out of your skin as the door flies open again.
A perfect line of open Tupperware boxes, with Eddie crouched over them. He looks at you seriously, "Is this a test? A puzzle?"
You shake your head
"Then why have you given me a tub of cookies, cupcakes and pies, all with the same four cereal toppings?"
"See lucky charms, lucky charms, lucky charms. Honeycombs, honeycombs, honeycombs. Chocula, chocula, chocula. Cinnamon, cinnamon, cinnamon," he points at each product in turn.
"Because it depends on the occasion?" You say quietly
"How much did this all cost you?" He folds his arms in a disapproving way.
"I didn't have to buy anything new. We had it all at home," you say nervously.
"Let me get this straight, after your friend argument, my Uncle exploding at you, you taking on Hawkins P.D and after we finished talking on the phone, you, Y/N Y/L/N, went into your kitchen and made all of these"
