Chapter 5

Siobhan's POV

Later that day....

I stood next to Ben on the tourney field in my sportswear before Carlos walked onto the field in his sportswear and I smiled at Carlos and he smiled back at me before Ben shouted out to him "Okay, Carlos, we're going to do some sprints, you ready?" Carlos then nodded before he got into the position and Ben started his timer and Carlos took off, running and screaming because Dude was chasing him. Ben then stopped his timer as Carlos ran past us and Ben was impressed with how fast he can run while I said to Carlos "Okay, Carlos, you can stop running now" I then realised that Carlos wasn't stopping before I shouted out to him "Carlos!, Carlos, wait!" I then let out a sigh before I said to Ben "Ben" Ben then looked at Carlos and he said "Carlos?, Carlos!" We then took off running after Carlos but I was faster then Ben as I shouted out to Carlos "Carlos, stop running now!" Carlos then took off and he headed off the tourney field and into the nearby forest before we caught up to him when he shouted out to us "Ben!, Siobhan!" We found Carlos in a tree that he had climbed to get away from Dude before I said to Carlos as I came to a stop and I tried to catch my breath "Damm, you're really fast" Carlos then shouted as Ben bent down to Dude's level and he picked him up before he held Dude in his arms "Ben, Siobhan, help me!, This thing is a killer!, he's going to chase me down and rip out my throat, this is a vicious, rabid pack animal!" "Hey, who told you that?" Ben asked Carlos before Carlos said to Ben "My mother" "Cruella?" I asked Carlos before he said to me "She's a dog expert, a dog yellerer" "She sounds like a psychopath to me" I then patted Dude before Carlos said to us while he held onto the tree and he braced himself for the incoming attack "Ben, why are you holding him?, he's going to attack you!, Siobhan, don't pet him, he'll hurt you!" "Carlos, you've never actually met a dog, have you?" Ben asked Carlos before Carlos said to him "Of course not" I then said to Dude and Carlos as I introduced them to each other "Dude, meet Carlos, Carlos, this is dude, he's the campus mutt" "He doesn't look like a vicious, rabid pack animal" Carlos said as he lowered himself and he climbed down from the tree slowly before he released his grip on the tree as he kept his eyes on Dude while I smiled at him.

"Jeez, you're a good boy, aren't you?" Carlos said to Dude before he reached his hand out and he petted Dude's fur. I then smiled slightly before Ben handed Dude over to Carlos while a smile was lighting up on Carlos's face before he said to Dude "You're a good boy" "I guess you guys have it pretty rough on the island" Ben said to Carlos before Carlos looked up at him and he said to Ben "Yeah, let's just say we don't get a lot of belly rubs" Ben then placed one of his hands on one of Carlos's shoulders before he said to him "Good boy" Carlos then looked up at Ben again and I looked at Ben with a glaring look on my face before he said to Carlos in an awkwardly voice "I mean, you're a good runner, you're- you're fast, you know" Carlos then said to Ben "Oh yeah, thank you" Ben and I then looked at each other before he said to Carlos "Yeah, listen, we're going to give you guys some space, yeah?, you guys get to know each other and just, you know, come find us when you're done, okay?" "Okay" "We'll see you later" I said to Carlos as Ben and I started to walk back to the tourney field before Carlos said to me "See you later" 

Ben and I then looked back at Carlos and Dude and Carlos was sitting on the log with Dude on his lap before he licked Carlos on the face and I smiled at them before Ben and I continued to walk back to the tourney field and I said to Ben "Back off my future boyfriend, he's mine" "Don't worry, I don't like Carlos in that way" "Are you sure?, because if you start saying that kind of stuff, people will think that you're gay" "Please, I'm not gay" "You're bi, at least" "No, I'm not" "Pansexual?" Ben then looked at me with a mixed look of shock and confusion before I said to him "I'm kidding, I'm kidding, don't worry, Ben, I know that you're not like that and you're not gay, bi or pansexual" "Oh thank god" "Still, I always thought that you were bi" "Siobhan!" "What?, you just give off a lot of bi energy to me" "Stop it" "Fine, I'll stop it" We then both laughed about it as we headed back to the bleachers.
