Ummie ended up sleeping on the couch last night, although Brandon tried to convince her to sleep in one of the guest rooms but of course she was stubborn. He still was in shock at finding out that Ammie was his daughter. The pain he felt at not being there for her after all these years and the love he felt for her was growing even more. He should have been mad at Ummie but he couldn't be, he left her before she could even tell him everything. He walked into the kitchen and began a pot of coffee. His mind was preoccupied with Ummie and Ammie. The truth was that he still loved Ummie and he wanted to fix this and make it so they were a happy family. Ammie was already becoming the light of his life even though they only met yesterday.

Ummie awoke to the smell of coffee. She turned to see Brandon in the kitchen, she rubbed the back of her neck. Maybe she should have taken Brandon up on his offer of a bed. "Morning" he said as he saw her. He grabbed two mugs and poured them both some coffee. "Morning" she said, he walked to her and handed her one of the mugs. "Thank you" she said as she took it. He sat down in the chair in front of her "I want us to work on this" Brandon said starting. "I know, you want to work on your relationship with Ammie" Ummie said "if you want she can stay here for the weekend..." "that's not the only thing" he said. cutting her off. She looked at him with a question over her mug. "I'm just going to be blunt. I still want you... I want a relationship with you" Brandon said firmly. "How do you know I feel the same..." "the way we kissed the other day. I wasn't the only one that felt it" Brandon said. He saw her blush "I want my relationship with you and Ammie to grow. I want us to be a happy family, and I want to spend as much of my time with you both as I can" Brandon reached over and took her hand. "But Ammie hates me now..." "I don't hate you" they both looked to see Ammie. She honestly looked like she'd been crying all night. "I'll go make breakfast," Brandon said as he stood to walk into the kitchen.

Ummie hated to see that look on her face. "Come here sweetie" she said as she opened her arms to her. Ammie walked to her and curled up in her arms like she used to do when she was smaller. "I wanted to tell you so many times," Ummie said. "Did daddy hurt you that bad?" Ammie asked, "That was part of the reason but I guess didn't want you to think that he abandoned you either" Ummie said. That was the truth, whether she was angry or not she never wanted Ammie to feel the same towards Brandon. Ammie looked up at her with her big hazel eyes. "I think you and daddy still love each other," Ammie said. "Well it's complicated... and there are a lot of things we need to work on...''''we'll work on them as a family mommy" Ammie said with a smile. How did she get so mature? Ummie wondered. "You're right," Ummie said with a smile. Ammie had the widest grin on her face "we're rich now!" Ammie exclaimed Ummie quickly covered her mouth. "Ammie!" Ummie exclaimed with surprise. "I always knew I had rich taste for a reason" Ammie said standing and twirling around like a fairy princess. "That's right" they both turned to see Brandon in the doorway. Ammie ran to him and hugged him "You're my little princess and she will get anything she wants" he teased. Ummie rolled her eyes as if her daughter needed another person to spoil her. "I would like chocolate chip pancakes" she said in her most royal voice as she danced into the kitchen.

Seeing them bond so easily made Ummie's heart swoon. "What have we made?" Brandon asked, grinning at her. "A spoiled princess apparently" Ummie said laughing as well. "I wouldn't have it any other way," he said. ''Do you also want pancakes Queen Ummie?" he said with a bow and extended his hand to her. She couldn't help but laugh and play along as she took his hand. "Why would that be lovely?" she said. He led her into the kitchen where Brandon had cooked breakfast. They sat at the table and fixed their plates. "You know I could get used to you cooking for us like this' ' Ummie beamed. Ammie agreed as she poured syrup all over her pancakes. "Now we get to go to the concert together" she beamed with her mouth full. "Ammie, no talking with your mouth full" Ummie said. Ammie blushed as she finished chewing and swallowing her food. "Sorry" she said, Ummie looked at her watch "oh! It's time for you to go to school" she said standing "I could take her '' Brandon volunteered. "I don't wanna go! I wanna spend as much time with daddy as I can '' Ammie whined. "Ammie, you will have plenty of time to do that after school." Ummie said as she picked up her almost empty plate and placed it on top of hers. "And Brandon you can't, there is a certain list of people on the list to pick her up and drop her off." Ummie said as she walked into the kitchen.
