"Nathan.. ' I heard a whisper come from the right of me. quiet and low. To be honest i am not sure how i heard it.

I make my way in the direction of the voice making sure to miss any of the pipes and needles that litter the ground. I get to him and by the smell I already know that they are a vamps familiar.

"What happen?" I questioned as I bend down and run my hand across him to inspect him for injury.

"I do not know. I came here on orders to put up cameras and to make sure there was no way you could take us out if this was a trap. I was doing my sweep and that's when i felt something hit me like a train. next thing I know i am on the ground and unable to move. The man was blacked out. I did not know him, but he knew you Nathan.."

Each breath he took got farther and fewer in-between till eventually nothing was coming from him. There was no point in trying to save him. The damage was already done on the inside. If i tried then the odds are that he would have became one of them and I don't need to deal with another filthy monster running the streets at night.

I took a moment to gather my thoughts before caring on with business. How can he be out in daylight? was he like me or something different? I mean why would be trying to hide who he was when he did not care last night on my property. Where did he know me from and why did he hate me so much for? I mean I know i kill their kind but it has been this way for centuries.

After checking the rest of the surrounding area for any traps. I grab a chair from near by and go and sit next to the dead man who name I never asked for.

A life that won't be missed.

It was about two hours when I heard the cars pull up and knew things were about to get interesting. I heard the pitter patter of their feet running towards me. if the sounds did not warn me then the smell that followed would have definitely been the key indicator.

" Nathan what the hell is this? I though this was a friendly meeting and you go and kill one of my men."

"You know I wish i could say nice to see you too Axel but i really wish i did not have to be here with anyone of you. As for your guy over there, that was not me and if you doubt me then look at the camera footage. "

He snaps his fingers and tells two of his men to look over the camera recording and for the rest of the men to surround me in case it was me.

"No harm in being safe right Nathan. I mean if you did kill him then you broke the treaty and means we can have full reign to do as we please. And trust me getting rid of you would be the first thing on my list." he states with a smirk on he face.

"Trust me I would like nothing more than to kill you vile creatures from the Earth but right now I have something more important than the lot of you, however you come for me and i wont hesitate to end every single one of you right now."

One of Axel's me stepped forward, " Looks like he is telling the truth Boos. " With that he whispered into his ear "maybe this is what we need to take things back over. Use him to our advantage." thinking that i couldn't hear him

I pretended to play oblivious and act like i didn't know anything. I cleared my throat to get the mens attention. I stood from the chair and adjusted my coat and when doing so I could tell some of his men had taken a passive step back but still holding themselves in fight position.

"If you're done whispering over there. I called you here for something important. There is a man here. Who is like you but not quite like me. Which means that even if he seems like a good business investment for you to work with. Let me just say it is not. He killed your man without second thought. You think he wont do the same to any of you. .." a take a few steps around the dead guy".. this Vampire seems to know me and I do not know him. which is a hard thing to factor because ninety-nine percent of vampires i meet are dead. except for you and your men standing before you Axel. So tell me, how do you want to play this out?" I finished off saying while getting ready to fight if need be.
